Wilmer Valderrama is sending his congratulations to ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore, following the birth of her baby boy.

The two actors, who dated in the early 2000s, both recently welcomed their first children and had nothing but happy words to each other.

“Yes!!! What an amazing gift, you two incredible souls will be inspiring parents!!” Wilmer posted in the comments of Mandy‘s announcement Instagram. “Enjoy every breath of this new chapter! This young man is destined to brighten the world up.”

Mandy and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, welcomed a baby boy named August Harrison.

Just days before, Mandy shared her own congrats message to Wilmer after he announced that he became a dad to a beautiful daughter with fiancee Amanda Pacheco over Valentine’s Day weekend.

Wilmer and Amanda have yet to reveal the little girls’ name.

The 36-year-old This Is Us actress made the exciting announcement and shared a first glimpse of her son with the 35-year-old Dawes musician on her Instagram on Tuesday (February 23).

“Gus is here 💙💙💙💙. Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined. M + T,” Mandy captioned the post.

This is the couple’s first child together. They tied the knot in November of 2018. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Mandy Moore left a sweet comment on her ex boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama‘s baby announcement!

Mandy Moore is calling out an unnamed publication for refusing to interview her unless she would speak about “a certain subject” that was off limits to her.

The 36-year-old This Is Us star seems to imply – but not directly mention – the topic in question is a past abusive relationship. Out of respect for Mandy, we are not going to name the person in question here as she has censored the person’s name. Mandy has spoken extensively about an abusive ex and you can read more about that here.

Mandy posted the email she received from the publication, alongside her own message telling everyone her “blood is still boiling” over it.

“When they (the publication) were told that I had spoken plenty about a certain subject in my life and would have no further comment (truly there are countless interviews they could pull from, that story is over and there’s nothing more to say.),” Mandy began in her note.

If you don’t know, Mandy and husband Taylor Goldsmith first announced that they were expecting back in September. This will be the first child for the couple, and she is due any day now.

Mandy Moore‘s dog Jackson is on the mend after an emergency surgery to remove a six pound mass on his spleen.

The This Is Us actress posted an Instagram story asking fans to keep the dog in their thoughts ahead of his procedure.

Mandy wrote, “If you could, please say a prayer or send good vibes to our sweet Jackson who is about to have emergency surgery for mass in his abdomen.”

“We are remaining positive and hopeful,” she continued. “To say I’m beside myself about my sweet boy of 10 years is a bit of an understatement.”

A few hours after her first post, Mandy updated her fans and let them know that Jackson had successfully made it out of surgery.

“This sweet man made it through surgery,” she captioned a photo of Jackson. “They removed a 10 inch, 6 lb mass on his spleen (and his spleen too).”

She added, “He is a fighter and here’s hoping he continues to heal and thrive. Thank you for the good thoughts and prayers – please keep them coming!!”

Mandy lost her dog Joni in November and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, made her a stuffed replica of the dog. Click here to see the pics.

Mandy Moore is rearranging her birth plan she had set in place.

The 36-year-old pregnant actress revealed to fans that she’s changing some aspects about the plan as her platelet count has dropped “exponentially.”

“Weekly platelet check at the hematologist,” Mandy shared on her Instagram Story. “My platelets have dropped exponentially during pregnancy and it’s sadly altered my birth ‘plan.’ Any other pregnant folks in the same boat??”

The platelet count drop hints at a condition called gestational thrombocytopenia, which is common and occurs in between seven and 10 percent of pregnancies at delivery.

Mandy has been open about her struggles with her pregnancy, as this is her first child with husband Taylor Goldsmith.

In a new interview with Romper, Mandy detailed how she struggled to believe she was pregnant until the 12-week mark and was on the cusp of having surgery on her uterus.

“You know, I haven’t yet, but it’s unbelievable, this woman is radiant,” Justin shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show. “You would never know she’s pregnant. She looks like she could run a marathon.”

But if he had to give her any advice, it would be: “‘Get your sleep now. Because when the babies come, you’re not gonna sleep much.’ And if you do sleep, it won’t be the same quality of sleep.”
