Mandy Moore cradles her baby bump while walking the carpet at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 15) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 36-year-old actress, who is pregnant with her first child, won the award for The Drama TV Star of 2020 for her work on This Is Us.

“To all of you who championed and supported our show and the Pearson family from the beginning, we truly wouldn’t be here without you. You are a part of our growing family,” Mandy said in her acceptance speech. She rubbed her baby bump while talking about the growing family.

Mandy also thanked her husband Taylor Goldsmith.

“To the love of my life Taylor, I’m so excited to bring this baby boy into the world with you,” she said. “This has been a challenging year for everybody so let’s please keep each other safe. Let’s continue to wear masks, socially distance, wash your hands and be kind to one another.”

Mandy Moore is ready to be a mom!

The 36-year-old This Is Us actress opened up about her pregnancy with her first child with husband Taylor Goldsmith to Hoda Kotb on Today.

During the chat, she revealed how playing her character Rebecca Pearson in her hit series actually influenced her approach to becoming a mom.

“Playing a matriarch of a family for the last five years and getting to see children at various different chapters and stages, I feel like I’m as pseudo-prepared as I can be. I’ve had babies and toddlers and adult children [on the show], so I’ve gotten a pretty good taste and lay of the land,” she explained.

She also welcomed “unsolicited advice” from parents: “I will welcome anything because I know nothing. I’m like a sponge — I wanna soak it all up.”

Mandy also talked about hiding her baby bump on set.

“I’m sure you’ll see Rebecca carrying a lot of laundry baskets and oversized purses and God knows what for the next couple of months! I’ve also heard that they can go in and digitally change things, if need be, but I’m guessing it’ll be a lot … less full-body [shots].”

She also gushed about her husband, and the idea of family traditions.

“My husband is a musician, so the idea of being able to have music be this through line in [the baby's] life is really exciting. To be able to bring him on the road with us is an exciting prospect. And holidays — we’re at the beginning of the best season of the year, and I think about traditions and the way we’re gonna be a family together. It’s so exciting.”

Mandy Moore decided to tell her This Is Us co-stars about her pregnancy in the cutest way.

The 36-year-old actress’s co-stars Milo Ventimiglia and Chrissy Metz opened up about her reveal to them and how they reacted during a virtual press panel ahead of the new season premiere next week.

“I’m so excited. I’m so excited for her,” Milo shared. “When she told the group of us, we were all on a call talking about some stuff pre-season. It was Dan [Fogelman] and the whole cast and then Dan hopped off and she told all of us the news.”

He added that “it’s wonderful news. You get excited about that. Mandy and Taylor, her husband, they are just the best people. They are the kind of folks who should be parents.”

Chrissy, who plays the Mandy and Milo‘s on-screen daughter, Kate, in the series, revealed that she cried over it.

“You would’ve thought that I was having the child. I was so excited, I cried!” she says. “When you love someone and they tell you, it’s different if it’s family or a friend, but when she told us, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’”

Chrissy added, “Like, I just know how much her and Taylor want to have a family and so it’s really beautiful to see someone [get that] and I know that they’re going to be the best parents… I’m just really happy for them ’cause I know how happy they are.”

Just the night before, Mandy opened up about why she wasn’t able to watch the Presidential Debate, which most agree was a mess and is now undergoing changes to the format.

“I tried watching but I can’t because I’m growing a human and that man is toxic,” she wrote. “Seriously, I can not fathom anyone looking less presidential than him. It’s embarrassing. How how how can anyone vote for him? He’s an angry, petulant child. #Debates2020.”

Mandy added, “We have a man who sits in the highest office in the land and when given the chance time and time again to denounce white supremacy, he simply won’t. It’s abhorrent and enraging and I can’t wait to #VoteHimOut.”

Mandy Moore is opening up about her “tough” first trimester on social media.

The 36-year-old This is Us actress and singer took to her Instagram Stories and revealed that she’s been having a lot of food aversions as of late – to the point where she has to ask her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, to leave when he’s eating.

“I don’t know about you, but I had the worst food aversions. I still can’t think about some things or look at them in the fridge,” she shared. “I had a really tough, like, first 15 weeks, I’d say.”

Mandy added, “And poor Taylor. I was like, ‘Can you go outside and eat? I can’t look at food, I can’t smell food, I can’t think about food.’”

She also shared that while she used to go to bed dreaming about coffee, that’s included on one of her food aversions.

“Just sitting here thinking: will I ever enjoy coffee again? It’s one of my major food aversions right now (and I know – probably for the best) but it makes me sad because I used to dream about coffee before bed.”

Mandy and Taylor announced they were expecting their first child, a baby boy, last week.
