The stars are stepping out for the season two premiere of Ted Lasso!

Sophia Bush and Kesha slayed the blue carpet at the season two premiere of the Apple TV+ series, starring Jason Sudeikis, on Thursday (July 15) at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Calif.

Other stars in attendance included musician Marcus Mumford, comedians Fortune Feimster and Nikki Glaser, Riverdale actor Charles Melton, Patton Oswalt and wife Meredith Salenger, Bad Teacher actress Lucy Punch, Suburgatory actress Carly Chaikin, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti.

If you didn’t know, Marcus does the music for the series, and even wrote theme song and score with Tom Howe.

Ted Lasso‘s second season premieres on July 23 on Apple TV+. The first season just broke an Emmys record by becoming the freshman comedy series with the most nominations ever thanks to its 20 noms.

Carey Mulligan‘s date to the Oscars was her husband Marcus Mumford and he shared some photos from the night on his Instagram… including a peek at the souvenir he took home!

The 34-year-old Mumford & Sons rocker appears to have taken the Oscars-themed lampshade that was sitting on their table at the event.

Marcus is seen holding the lampshade in his hands while riding in a van after the show. He also documented some other moments from the night, including how he used Chanel eyepatches to prepare for the show.

Carey was nominated for Best Actress for her work in the movie Promising Young Woman, though the award went to Frances McDormand for Nomadland.

Carey Mulligan is absolutely stunning in Oscars gold on the red carpet at the 2021 Academy Awards on Sunday (April 25) at Union Station in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old actress – who is nominated this evening for her work in Promising Young Woman in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category – was joined on the red carpet by her husband Marcus Mumford. You may recognize Marcus as the lead singer of the band Mumford & Sons! Marcus went viral a few years ago for what he did during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s royal wedding!

Carey Mulligan is making her Saturday Night Live hosting debut!

The 35-year-old Promising Young Woman actress hosted the NBC sketch comedy series for the first time on Saturday (April 10) from New York City.

In her opening monologue, Carey talked about quarantining with husband Marcus Mumford and their two kids – Evelyn, 5, and Wilfred, 3 – in the English countryside.

Carey then shared how excited she is to be in NYC, while sharing that the 34-year-old Mumford & Sons musician is back home with the kids.

At that time, Marcus pops up from the audience, confusing Carey.

“What a surprise, lovely to see you — where are the kids?” Carey asks.

““I left them with the Sons! I couldn’t miss this! You’re going to smash it! SNL!” Marcus exclaimed. “Do you know if they booked a musical guest for tonight?”

“Yes. Quite sure,” Carey said, but Marcus had already pulled out his guitar.

“I think we’ve got it covered…thank you, darling,” Carey said, but Marcus had already started playing.

Marcus then said that he thought Carey was giving him a “signal” — “our secret couple signal for please play the guitar?”

“We are not that couple!” Carey said. “Do you remember the bit at the end of the monologue where we say we the show is going to be great — do you want to play the guitar for that bit?”

Marcus then ran up and joined Carey on stage, where he played the guitar while Carey said her bit before the show cut to commercial.

If you missed it, Carey recently revealed the strange thing she plans on bringing to the 2021 Oscars with her!

Marcus Mumford, singer for Mumford and Sons, is speaking out about being caught yawning on camera while attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s royal wedding in May of 2018.

Rolling Stone asked the 31-year-old singer, “What was it like [being caught yawning?]” to which he responded, “Hugely embarrassing, obviously.”

Marcus continued, “I got more text messages for that than I got for headlining Glastonbury. It was a long morning. I was convinced that there wouldn’t be many cameras on us, because there’s all these fucking famous people in the room. I said to my wife [actress Carey Mulligan] at one point, ‘Give me a smooch, babe.’ She goes, ‘No way, there’s cameras everywhere.’ And then, of course, they caught me yawning. Amazing wedding, though.”

The magazine also managed to ask, “How are you friends with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, anyway?

He responded, “Privately. That’s probably all I’ll say about that.”

The 57-year-old former president was honored as the Ripple of Hope‘s Laureate this year at the event hosted by the late Robert F. Kennedy‘s son Robert F. Kennedy Jr and his wife Cheryl Hines.

Each year, the organization celebrates leaders of the international business, entertainment, and activist communities who have demonstrated a commitment to social change and reflect Kennedy’s passion for equality, justice, basic human rights, and his belief that we all must strive to “make gentle the life of this world.”

Marcus Mumford suits up while arriving for the wedding of Kit Harington and Rose Leslie on Saturday afternoon (June 23) at Rayne Church in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

The 31-year-old frontman of the band Mumford & Sons was seen the day before arriving at Aberdeen Airport and walking with the help of crutches and a boot on his foot. It looks like he’s feeling better now though!

This is the second major wedding that Marcus has attended in the past month. He was also spotted at the royal wedding with his wife Carey Mulligan back in May.
