Maren Morris & Ryan Hurd To Perform First Duet Ever Together at ACM Awards 2021

Maren Morris cozies up to Ryan Hurd while arriving at the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn.

Together, the couple will be performing at duet at the show, airing Sunday, April 18 on CBS.

Maren and Ryan will perform “Chasing After You”, which serves as the couple’s first ever suet.

“We heard the demo years ago, and it sort of lit us both on fire,” Maren told The Tennessean ahead of the show. “And I think it at the time when we heard it, it was really reflective of our relationship at that moment. It was very much about yearning. Now it’s become so nostalgic for us.”

She added, “It’s also such a relatable topic, even if you are in a relationship or married, to be chasing someone down and not losing that want for somebody.”

The 2021 ACM Awards will start airing at 7/6c on CBS and Paramount+.

FYI: Maren is wearing an LBV dress. Ryan wore a Dolce and Gabbana suit with an Omega watch, David Yurman bracelets and Aldo shoes.

Taylor Swift's 'You All Over Me' First Listen - Hear the Sneak Peek Before Tonight!

Here’s your first sneak peek at Taylor Swift‘s brand new song “You All Over Me (From The Vault)” featuring Maren Morris!

Good Morning America provided a sneak peek at the song, which hears Taylor singing, “But no amount of freedom gets you clean/ I’ve still got you all over me.” You can learn more about the new song right here.

Taylor is getting ready to release Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in April and its a rerecording of her 2008 album Fearless. The recording will feature six brand new songs, and this is the first of the six.

Maren Morris & John Mayer Join Forces for an Emotional Performance of 'The Bones'

Maren Morris got some help from John Mayer for her performance at the 2021 Grammys!

The country superstar rocked a red dress with high leg-slit for her performance of the 2019 hit “The Bones”. She shared a couple smiles with John, who sang backup vocals and even performed one of his signature guitar solos.

Maren told People she was very excited to be performing with the “New Light” singer for the show.

“I’m performing ‘The Bones’ with my friend playing guitar, John Mayer, so it’s gonna be a really beautiful performance,” she said. “He adds so much to it, obviously — he’s John. I’m so [grateful] to him that he is sitting in with us tonight.”

“He’s just smart as a whip. He is also really, really thoughtful and he internalizes every other word he says,” she continued. “I feel like it’s kind of adorable. He’s been just so respectful and complementary to my music over the years.”

“The Bones” was nominated for Best Country Song this year, but lost to The Highwomen‘s song “Crowded Table.”

Maren Morris Steps Out In A Gorgeous Baby Pink Gown For Grammys 2021

Maren Morris looks amazing in a baby pink gown as she arrives at the 2021 Grammys held at Los Angeles Convention Center on Sunday (March 14) in Los Angeles.

The 60-year-old country star stunned in a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown adorned with rhinestones for the musical award show.

Maren was nominated at the show for Best Country Song, however, did not win. The Highwomen‘s “Crowded Table” won the category.

Later on in the night, Maren will be performing with John Mayer for a duet of her hit song, “The Bones”.

“He is amazing, I have been such a fan for a long time,” Maren told ET about the performance and working with John. “But he has really always been supportive of me. We actually met at the GRAMMYs here a couple years ago and we have just had this mutual respect for one another and our craft.”

She added, “When I got nominated this year and was going to be performing, I just reached out as a friend to John and was like, ‘Hey, will you come in and sit in on guitar?’ He graciously said yes and he has just elevated this song to an even higher level than I thought. I am just so grateful that he said yes.”

The 2021 Grammys, hosted by Trevor Noah, will air Sunday, March 14 @ 8/7c on CBS.

Maren Morris is getting candid about the state of country.

The 30-year-old singer-songwriter made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (March 11).

During her appearance, she spoke about her upcoming performance at the Grammy Awards with John Mayer and shared her plans for her son Hayes’ first birthday party.

The 2021 Grammys will be full of incredible live performers!

The Recording Academy announced a list of performers at the upcoming ceremony on Sunday (March 7).

Taylor Swift, BTS and Harry Styles are among the major entertainers set to hit the stage.

Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Megan Thee Stallion, Maren Morris, Post Malone and Roddy Ricch will also be performing.

Several of the performers are making their Grammys stage debut, including Harry, Megan and Bad Bunny.

“Artists will be coming together, while still safely apart, to play music for each other as a community and celebrate the music that unites us all,” the announcement reads, adding that the audience will be limited to performers, nominees and a small number of their guests.
