Issa Rae joins Marsai Martin and Regina Hall at the Little premiere on Monday night (April 8) at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

The ladies all looked super stylish as they premiered their new movie.

Issa Rae, Marsai Martin, and Regina Hall pose for a group photo while attending the 2019 BeautyCon Festival New York held at Jacob Javits Center on Saturday (April 6) in New York City.

The cast of Little was in attendance to talk about bringing their black girl magic on the big screen in the upcoming comedy.

If you didn’t know, Marsai is now the youngest Executive Producer on a major Hollywood motion picture in history for executive producing Little.

Also in attendance was Marsai‘s black-ish co-star Yara Shahidi, who joined Noor Tagouri in a conversation about fighting the fear of being yourself.

Issa Rae is joined by co-stars Regina Hall and Marsai Martin as they stop by BUILD Series for an interview on Tuesday afternoon (April 2) in New York City.

The ladies stopped by the show to promote their upcoming comedy Little – which hits theaters on April 12.

During the interview, Issa opened about how one of her middle school bullies tried to reach out to her post stardom.

“When I had my one series Awkward Black Girl and it started gaining some speed, she had the nerve to message me and be like, ‘Hey what’s up, I’d love to be a part of this,” Issa shares. “And I was like, “What?! Did you just forget all the torment you put me through?’”

Issa then shared that she never responded back to her.

The 34-year-old actress, who was joined by her Little co-star Marsai Martin, was seen in a different outfit while arriving for the interview.

Later in the day, Issa stopped by Buzzfeed and opened up about the death of Nipsey Hussle. He was tragically shot and killed on Sunday afternoon near his clothing store.

Issa said how she was so inspired by the way Nipsey gave back to the community and that she planned on doing the same once she had the means.

“In my mind, I was like, ‘Cool, as soon as I get coin, that’s the same thing I’m gonna do,’” she told Buzzfeed. “And for him to invest so much, to be of the community and then to be gunned down in that same area is just heartbreaking.”

“It’s just sad that his life was taken away,” she added. “A sense of hope was taken away, a sense of promise was taken away and that’s just a tragedy.”
