Martha Stewart is on the mend.

The 79-year-old chef and lifestyle guru took to her Instagram on Wednesday (June 30) to reveal that she recently had to undergo a “three-hour operation.”

Martha Stewart is setting the record straight.

In a story about Sean Flynn‘s new book Why Peacocks? about owning peacocks, the New York Post reported that the 79-year-old Martha Stewart Living entrepreneur owned 16 peacocks – and now she’s correcting the report.

Martha Stewart is opening up about her hot Instagram pic that she posted almost a year ago.

In the image, the 79-year-old entrepreneur shared the selfie while lounging in her pool on a humid day in East Hampton, New York.

Not long after she posted the pic, which currently has over 242,000 likes, many started to recreate their own versions and Martha is now saying that she had “so many propositions” come from just that one picture.

Here’s what she had to say…

On her complicated feelings around the Me Too movement: “It has been really painful for me. I’ve known almost every single one of the famous guys that has been accused and set aside. Some were certainly guilty of a lot of what was accused. But some were—it’s just their awful personalities. I am not going to mention their names, but I know those people very, very well, and you know the man just talks about sex during dinner. That doesn’t mean anything to me.”

On her prison sentence: “I knew I was strong going in and I was certainly stronger coming out. It was a very serious happening in my life. I take it very seriously. I’m not bitter about it, but…My daughter knows all the problems that resulted because of that. There’s a lot.”

On her biggest regret: “My only big regret that I can talk about is that Saturday Night Live asked me to host. My probation officer wouldn’t give me the time. That really pissed me off, because I would have loved to have hosted Saturday Night Live. I’d like that on my résumé.”

John Travolta and his daughter Ella are teaming up for a new commercial airing during the 2021 Super Bowl!

The 66-year-old actor and his 20-year-old daughter are among the many stars appearing in the commercial for Scotts Miracle-Gro. Other stars in the commercial include Martha Stewart, The Office‘s Leslie David Baker, The Mandalorian‘s Carl Weathers, NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, and fitness instructor Emma Lovewell.

In the commercial, Ella teaches John how to work the camera on his phone before they start doing the iconic Grease dance together. The two dance while Surfaces‘ song “Sunday Best” plays in the background.

From over in her own yard, Martha watches the two dance before saying, “He’s still got it.”

Martha Stewart has received her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and she shared a short video clip from the procedure.

The 79-year-old chef and businesswoman also responded to concerns that fans might have about her “jumping the line” to get the vaccine.

Martha said on Instagram, “I was vaccinated today in a designated vaccine pod near the Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai Downtown. I am so proud of and grateful to the doctors, nurses and medical staff who are wading through the red tape and confusion of the distribution of these very important vaccines.”

“I am excited to have received my dosage and look forward to the booster. The doctors told me 10,000 applications were received by Mount Sinai right after the state released this batch of vaccines. Here’s to the advancement of science and a heartfelt thanks to those working on the vaccines. We are all hoping for an end to this pandemic,” Martha continued.

She concluded the post by saying, “To allay your concerns that I jumped the line know that I am in the approved age group for this batch of vaccines and I waited in line with others.”

Did you know that Richard Gere and Martha Stewart are neighbors?

The two celebrities are part of the same neighborhood in Bedford, New York, along with a handful of other celebs, including Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, too.

Richard was one of the many who saw Martha’s recent appearance on Today, where she whipped up one of her caramel mile high cakes, and called her up just afterwards to get one of his own for his family.

After finishing off the dessert on her Instagram, Martha revealed that it went to Richard‘s home.

“As seen yesterday on @todayshow With @hodakotb and @carsondaly by the way the phone call was from my neighbor @richardgereofficial,” Martha wrote. “He is a neighbor and he wanted the chocolate caramel mile high cake- we took it over to him and his family after the show!”
