There are currently 18 women vying for Matt James‘ heart on his season of The Bachelor, but he is about to meet some more ladies.

Five women will be making surprise entrances on the upcoming episode of the show, which will air on Monday (January 25) at 8pm EST.

ABC just released a video that introduces fans to the five women and full bios for all of them were revealed as well.

The network said, “Five new women will arrive to try to win the love of Bachelor Matt James—much to the dismay of the 18 women who already felt like they weren’t getting enough time with the eligible man. Will one of these women suddenly have sparks with Matt? And does one of them have a secret that could change the course of the season?”

The Internet is full of some very amazing detectives, and Bachelor fans believe they figured out who wins Matt James‘ season.

Through some intricate sleuthing, fans discovered that Matt appeared to be listening to a Spotify playlist made by one of his remaining contestants.

Matt was caught listening to a playlist titled “night drive” made by one of the remaining women. It has 75 songs on it, and it’s unclear if it was curated for Matt, or he was just digging the vibes.

It’s week two of Matt James‘ season of The Bachelor and it seemed like things were going smoothly until the final moments of the episode.

Matt went on two one-on-one dates and one group date this week. He handed out roses to Bri and Sarah during the one-on-ones and Lauren got the rose during the group date.

During the cocktail party ahead of the rose ceremony, Matt shared a sweet moment with Marylynn. He gave her an orchid because he “remembered” that she likes them and she was shocked because she wasn’t sure if he even remembered her name. After the season’s villain Victoria found out, she decided to go to Matt and tell him that Marylynn said things to her that weren’t nice.

Matt then confronted Marylynn, who denied saying anything hurtful. She then tried to make peace with Victoria, who didn’t want to make nice.

The new season of The Bachelor just premiered and everyone can’t get over how Matt James, the show’s new lead, is so tall!

The 28-year-old real estate broker towered over the women while he greeted them at the limo drop-off point and he even looked so much taller than Chris Harrison while standing next to him.

“how tall is matt james bc he is TOWERING over everyone omg,” one fan tweeted.

Another fan said, “Cue all of Bachelor Nation googling how tall Matt James is.”

The 28-year-old real estate broker from New York City was introduced to 32 women during the first episode of the season. By the end of the night, he had to say goodbye to eight of the contestants.

In the preview for the rest of the season, it was revealed that more women are going to be introduced in the coming weeks and it’s going to cause a lot of drama.

The season premiere of The Bachelor‘s new season with Matt James is premiering tonight and we have all the details on the contestants!

Matt was supposed to be a contestant on The Bachelorette this year, but he was promoted to the star of The Bachelor in the middle of the pandemic. He will be the first Black man to lead the ABC dating reality show.

Did you know that he is best friends with Tyler Cameron? He appeared on Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette and was one of her finalists. They all spent time together at the beginning of quarantine in March 2020.

The network just announced the 32 women who are on the hunt for love during season 25.

At the end of night one, 24 lucky bachelorettes remain to toast the Bachelor and join him on the romantic adventure of a lifetime. The season premiere airs on Monday, January 4 at 8pm.
