Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry once played in a celebrity hockey league together!

The 51-year-old Man with a Plan actor opened up about the Friends co-stars’ experience while stopping by The Late Late Show on Thursday (February 7).

After host James Corden brought out an old photo of the duo, guest Will Arnett told Matt, “You’re like the sexiest hockey player of all time.”

“I think I was a little hungover in that photo,” Matt replied, to which Will responded, “You make hungover look good.”

Matt explained, “[Matthew] was playing on the team already. I think his dad plays on the team. He’s Canadian. So he asked me, ‘Hey, I’m playing this celebrity hockey thing, you wanna play?’”

“So I go home and I call my mother…” Matt continued.

Matt LeBlanc steps out for an interview on Live! with Kelly & Ryan on Thursday morning (January 24) in New York City.

The 51-year-old actor opened up about a new generation of kids discovering his show Friends thanks to Netflix.

“It seems like every year there’s a new generation that watches it. I was walking down the street one day, this was a few years ago, this kid, he must have been 13, 14, he’s like, ‘Oh my god, you’re Joey’s dad!” Matt said. “And, my response was ‘Scram!’”

Matt is promoting season three of Man With a Plan.

The 50-year-old former Friends actor has been rumored to be dating Aurora for nearly two years now and it looks like they’re still going strong with yet another red carpet appearance!

Matt joined the cast of Top Gear, a British series about cars, in 2016′s series 23. The new series is set to premiere soon.

Aurora is a producer at the BBC.

The 50-year-old Man With A Plan star discussed his new “silver fox” status during an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Monday (November 6).

During the interview with James Corden, Matt amusingly revealed that he’d been going gray since around the second season of Friends – and they had to keep dying his hair.

“After that all ended, after Joey was over…I took about five, six years off and said screw it…I couldn’t be bothered anymore,” he explained.

Matt LeBlanc had expressed his desire to retire early, but just what would be spend his time doing?

The 50-year-old actor opened up about his future plans and even jokingly announced his retirement while making an appearance on Conan.

“I think I would like to retire earlier rather than later because I think I would like to do not a f**cking thing…just nothing,” Matt explained.

When pressed by Conan, he added, “Typical day – you’d sleep as late as you want or get up early…if you want! Maybe go to the gym…or not. Maybe have nine cups of coffee or none! And then go drive the bulldozer around all day!”

Matt even entertained the idea of coming to see in on Conan every day before jokingly announcing “I quit!”

Matt LeBlanc could have played Phil Dunphy in Modern Family, the role made famous by Ty Burrell!

The 50-year-old star told USA Today the pilot script “came across my desk with an offer to play Ty Burrell‘s role” years ago.

“I remember reading it thinking, this is a really good script, (but) I’m not the guy for this. I’d be doing the project an injustice to take this. I know what I can do, I know what I can’t do. Plus, I’m having too much fun laying on the couch,” Matt said.

Ty was obviously a great choice for the role – as he does an amazing job! He won two Emmys for his work on the show (and is nominated this year as well).

The new series of Top Gear hits screens soon, and Matt LeBlanc is set to return as host alongside Rory Reid and Chris Harris!

“I think we’ve tried to broaden the demographic of the show. Try to make it not lose the petrolhead nature of it but maybe open it up to people who aren’t so petrolheady,” the 50-year-old actor expressed to the BBC.

“Expand the comedy, try to have bigger, broader films, but it will be more of the same in the sense it starts with the car,” Matt added. “It will be closer to what it was last year versus the season before.”
