The 40-year-old “Fighter” superstar and the 36-year-old guitarist were spotted out on a date night on Thursday night (May 20) in Malibu, Calif.

Christina was seen holding onto Matthew‘s arm as they made their way back to their car. She looked fashionable in an all-black ensemble, while Matthew kept it casual in a jacket and jeans.

Christina Aguilera is helping her longtime love Matthew Rutler celebrate his 36th birthday!
The 40-year-old “Genie in a Bottle” singer made a rare appearance with Matthew while stepping out for dinner together on Monday night (April 5) at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, Calif.
Christina took to Instagram earlier in the day to share a glimpse into their life together at home and to share a sweet message for Matt. For those that don’t know, he is an investor and Executive Vice President of the online lessons company MasterClass.
“You’re simply the best, @m_rutler! Happy Birthday ❤️ You continuously impress me with how devoted, driven and hardworking you are, while being a devoted, loving and thoughtful parent & partner. You always strive to be better and never settle for anything but. From being an amazing father to an incredible business man and forward thinker, you innovate and execute ideas on the daily,” Christina wrote in the post.
She continued, “I remember when Masterclass was just a little idea being tossed around our backyard. Now knowing and seeing first-hand the backstory in how you helped grow it to become the mega success it is, I’m not surprised because I witness the magic behind the machine every day — in every sense of what you do. From helping keep the family glue together to building the successes you do. I’m proud of you and will always be in your corner…cheering you on to keep shining and succeeding in all your wildest dreams. Love you baby. 💋💥🚀.”

Christina Aguilera‘s daughter Summer Rutler celebrated a birthday this weekend and the singer just shared some adorable photos from the special day!
“Went off the grid to celebrate Summer Rain’s birthday yesterday, so posting a day late but…Happy Birthday to my little artist! 💕 💕 She loved the campsite we went to so much, she decided to recreate her own camper from cardboard back home,” Christina, 39, wrote on her Twitter account.
Christina also posted an adorable video from Summer‘s sixth birthday celebration.

Christina looked cool and fashionable in a pink Balenciaga windbreaker, a sheer black top and YSL shades. The couple have been together since meeting on the set of Christina‘s movie Burlesque back in 2010.

Christina Aguilera hits the carpet in all black while attending the premiere of The Addams Family on Sunday afternoon (October 6) in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old musician, who sings the theme song “Haunted Heart” for the film, channeled Morticia Addams, who is voiced by Charlize Theron in the new animated flick.
Also in attendance were Charlize‘s co-stars Chloe Moretz, Nick Kroll, Elsie Fisher, Snoop Dogg, Finn Wolfhard, and Aimee Garcia, as well as Keith L Williams, Ruby Jay, Ruby Rose Turner, Jake T Austin, and Christina‘s family – partner Matthew Rutler and kids Max and Summer Rain.

The 38-year-old entertainer’s longtime love Matthew Rutler was in the crowd with their four-year-old daughter Summer Rain and her 11-year-old son Max.
Christina‘s kids arrived in Vegas over the weekend and attended the show on Saturday night (June 1).
“They showed up for the first time before opening night, I was like ‘wahhh,’” she told Extra. “They did [see the show], not the first night… They saw the show the second night, my son absorbs everything, he is very musical, he actually has a great voice.”
“When I see them here, I want them to have a fun time, I think they are very taken with all the visuals, the effects, confetti, all that good stuff,” she said. “They enjoy it.”
