Sally Field Gets Tom Hanks' Support at Kennedy Center Honors!

Sally Field walks the red carpet while attending the 2019 Kennedy Center Honors event on Sunday (December 8) at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

The two-time Oscar-winning actress was one of the five honorees at this year’s event and she received support from her Forrest Gump co-star Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson!

The other honorees this year were Earth, Wind & Fire, singer Linda Ronstadt, the creators of Sesame Street, and music director and conductor Michael Tilson Thomas.

Some of the other celebs who stepped out to help celebrate the honorees included Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lucy Liu, Kevin Kline, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Vereen, LL Cool J, Steven Spielberg and wife Kate Capshaw, Maura Tierney, David Foster, Audra McDonald, and Cedric the Entertainer.

Sadly, earlier in the day it was confirmed that the longtime puppeteer of Sesame Street‘s Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch had passed away.

Andrew Rannells, Regina Hall and Don Cheadle strike a pose together while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of their Showtime series Black Monday held at The Theatre at Ace Hotel on Monday evening (January 14) in Los Angeles.

The three leading stars were joined at the event by their co-stars Paul Scheer and Yassir Lester, directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, as well as Emily V. Gordon, Kumail Nanjiani, Constance Zimmer, Maura Tierney, David Krumholtz and Vanessa Williams who all stepped out to show their support.

Black Monday takes viewers back to October 19, 1987 – aka Black Monday, the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street. To this day, no one knows who caused it … until now. It’s the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world’s largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine and the glass ceiling.

The new 10-episode series will premiere on Sunday, January 20 at 10pm ET/PT – Watch the trailer below!

Maura Tierney Stole a Picture of Oprah Winfrey for Busy Philipps!

Maura Tieney hit Busy Philipps‘ couch on Busy Tonight on Tuesday (December 11) and revealed that she stole a picture of Oprah Winfrey for her!

The 53-year-old The Affair star explained how she pulled off the mischievous heist for Busy, saying “it was so easy to take.”

“Like it’s just sitting there begging to be taken first of all, it’s not, hardly my fault,” Maura continued. “I just casually picked it up, I didn’t even try to hide it. I just walked out.”

Joshua Jackson Joins 'The Affair' Co-Stars Maura Tierney & Dominic West at Wilder vs Fury Fight

Joshua Jackson stops by the VIP party for the Wilder vs. Fury fight held at the Staples Center on Saturday night (December 1) in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance at the event were Joshua‘s The Affair co-stars Dominic West and Maura Tierney, as well as ShamelessWilliam H. Macy, Extra host Mario Lopez, actor Michael Rapaport, and Good Morning America‘s Michael Strahan.

The fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury was declared a “split draw” and both men asked for a rematch to determine a winner.

The co-stars hit the red carpet at the premiere on Monday night (October 8) at Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Beautiful Boy is based on the best-selling pair of memoirs from father and son David and Nic Sheff chronicling their heartbreaking and inspiring experience of survival, relapse, and recovery in a family coping with addiction over many years.

The film hits theaters on October 12th.

Steve Carell On 'The Office' Revival In His Future: 'I Love It Too Much To Ever Want To Do It Again'

Steve Carell is dapper as he strikes a pose at the special screening of his latest film Beautiful Boy hosted by Film Independent at the Harmony Gold Preview House and Theater on Thursday (October 4) in Hollywood.

The 56-year-old actor was joined at the event by the film’s director Felix Van Groeningen and his co-star Maura Tierney, as well as film critic Scott Mantz who moderated the Q&A panel.

In a recent interview with TIME about Beautiful Boy, Steve revealed why he has no plans of ever reviving his role as boss Michael Scott in The Office.

“I’ve never thought of it as a good idea,” Steve expressed. “I think it existed in that time and with those people and it felt right. There was something so special about it and I guess it’s an odd way to put it but I love it too much to ever want to do it again. It’s too special to me in my heart in that period of time.”
