Congratulations are in order for Meghan Linsey and Tyler Cain!

The 33-year-old singer and The Voice alum and her boyfriend of seven years – aka Meg and Tyler – got engaged while filming their new music video on Monday (June 17) in Alaska, People reports.

“We drove out to Homer, which is one of our favorite places, and headed down to the beach at Land’s End,” Meghan shared. “I thought we were just walking down to check out the location, but when we walked up, the videographer [Noah Douglass] was already flying the drone around us. I assumed he was just testing everything out, but it did seem a little strange. That’s when Tyler got down on one knee, and that’s when I knew. I’m not easy to surprise, but he got me!”

They then finished shooting the music video for a song called “Nowhere With You.”

“If you know us, [it’s] such an ‘us’ thing for us to do,” Meghan said. “‘Nowhere With You’ is a love song about being happy with the person you love, no matter where you are. We wanted to shoot it in a beautiful place, and Homer is breathtaking. The whole day was just perfect, and I’m so glad we captured it all on film.”

“Meghan and I have toured all over the world together, and Homer is such a beautiful place for us,” Tyler Cain added. “We made some amazing memories here together a few years ago, so I thought it’d be the perfect place to propose. I knew that after seven years of dating, it had to be EPIC!”

Cassadee Pope and her boyfriend Sam Palladio walk the red carpet at the 2019 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday (June 5) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

The 29-year-old singer, who won the third season of The Voice, has been dating the Nashville actor for over a year.

American Idol‘s Lauren Alaina was also at the event and more The Voice alum in attendance included Danielle Bradbery, Meghan Linsey, and RaeLynn.

Meghan Linsey is sharing a super scary spider bite that nearly left a whole in her face.

The 31-year-old country singer and The Voice runner-up shared with People magazine that she was bitten by a venomous spider back in February that caused massive swelling, muscle spasms, and an intense rash all over her body.

After rushing to urgent care, the antibiotics and saline solutions didn’t work and her eye nearly swelled shut.

“I was supposed to be like getting better, but I was getting worse – up until day nine, which is when the symptoms stopped happening and the necrosis started on my face,” Meghan said.

Then the skin surrounding the bit on her face began to rot as her skin cells died, leaving what she calls “a hole on my face.”

Meghan than began consulting with a wound specialist where she underwent experimental hyperbaric chamber treatment luckily improving her face.

Meghan has been documenting her recovery on her Instagram, which lead to a fan reaching out to her to recommend a gel dressing that treats wounds and can be used under makeup so that she could continue touring again.

“I’m one of those people that just throws it [makeup] on and goes, but now I have to put three or more layers on this one area of my face,” Meghan said. “It’s kind of a pain at this point, but, after going through everything I went through I’m just glad to be alive.”

As she continues to recover, Meghan isn’t sure yet if a scar will be left on her face, but she appreciates all of the support and love she has been getting.

“I think that people appreciate it when you’re real. I’m like, ‘What am I going to do? Be hiding this thing that I’m going through?’” Meghan said. “And honestly, it’s nice to raise awareness. It’s not talked about a lot and I have a way to get the word out.”

Cassadee Pope has some fun with her look at the 2016 CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 2) in Nashville, Tenn.

The former Voice winner joined Danielle Bradbery, RaeLynn (with her hubby Josh Davis) and Meghan Linsey at the big event.

“In love with this dress, @amberlehman you worked your butt off for me this year haha �’� and you nail it EVERY single time,” Danielle posted up on Instagram, giving her stylist a major shout out.

FYI: Danielle wore a Leanna Marshall dress, Schutz shoes and Lana jewelry.

The winners of season three and four of The Voice, respectively, were joined at the event by fellow country music singer contestants RaeLynn and Meghan Linsey, who came in second place on the most recent season.

Former American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and his runner-up Lauren Alaina were also in attendance at the show.

It was a fantastic season on The Voice and now the winner of 2015′s season eight has finally been revealed.

The final four were Sawyer Fredricks and Koryn Hawthorne from Pharrell Williams‘ team, Joshua Davis from Adam Levine‘s team, and Meghan Linsey from Blake Shelton‘s team.

Christina Aguilera unfortunately did not have any contestants going into the finale, but that freed up some time for her to make this awesome video to show off her funny celebrity impressions. Go check it out!
