Marisa Tomei & Jon Hamm Suit Up for Spirit Awards 2020

Marisa Tomei and Jon Hamm walk the blue carpet while arriving at the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 8) at the pier in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 55-year-old actress looked cool in a white suit with yellow blouse while the 48-year-old Mad Men actor, who sported a burgundy suit and tan turtleneck for the awards show.

Over stars at the event included Nicolas Cage, Marriage Story co-stars Ray Liotta and Merritt Weaver, The Mustang co-stars Matthias Schoenaerts and Gideon Adlon, and Community actress Yvette Nicole Brown.

During the show, Nic took to the stage to honor the cast and crew of Marriage Story with the Robert Altman award.

Christine Baranski & Audra McDonald Bring 'The Good Fight' To Critics Choice Awards 2020

Christine Baranski looks so elegant while arriving for the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 12) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 67-year-old Good Fight actress is up for Best Drama Actress at the award show tonight for her role as Diane Lockhart.

Christine‘s co-star Audra McDonald, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, was also at the event, along with co-nominee Merritt Wever from Netflix’s Unbelieveable.

Good Fight is also up for Best Drama Series.

Handmaid’s Tale real life couple Bradley Whitford and Amy Landecker were also seen on the blue carpet together.

FYI: Christine wore an Antonio Berardi dress with David Webb jewelry. Merritt wore a suit by Lafayette 148 New York and Stuart Weitzman shoes.

Merritt Wever and Toni Collette brought Unbelievable to the 2020 Golden Globe Awards!

The co-stars hit the red carpet on Sunday evening (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

During the event, Unbelievable is up for several awards including Best Miniseries or TV Film. Merritt is also up for Best Actress in the category while Toni is up for Best Supporting Actress.

The Golden Globes will be hosted by actor and comedian Ricky Gervais this year, marking his fifth time as host. Make sure to tune in at 8pm ET/5pm PT on NBC.

The ladies were at the event to support their show Unbelievable, which was recognized as one of the Top 10 TV Programs of the Year.

Kaitlyn and Merritt are both nominated for Golden Globes at this weekend’s event for their work on the Netflix series.

Another Netflix series to land on the list this year was The Crown. Representing that series were Gillian Anderson, Josh O’Connor, plus her boyfriend Peter Morgan, who created the show.

The numbers are in, and Netflix‘s Unbelievable is a hit!

According to the streaming service as of Saturday (November 16), the series has been watched by 32 million member households in the first 28 days.

IThe show is inspired by real events. Here’s a sypnosis: “When teenager Marie Adler (Kaitlyn Dever) files a police report claiming she’s been sexually assaulted by an intruder in her home, the investigating detectives, as well as the people closest to her, come to doubt the truth of her story. Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away, detectives Grace Rasmussen and Karen Duvall (Toni Collette and Merritt Wever) meet while investigating an eerily similar pair of intruder rapes and partner to catch a potential serial rapist.

Danielle Macdonald and Kaitlyn Dever strike a pose alongside their co-star Merritt Wever while attending the cast and crew screening of their Netflix series Unbelievable held at The Landmark on Monday evening (August 26) in Los Angeles.

The three ladies were also joined at the event by co-star Eric Lange, as well as showrunner Susannah Grant, producers Sarah Timberman and Lisa Cholodenko, and Netflix original series VP’s Allie Goss and Cindy Holland.

Synopsis: Inspired by real events, a teen reports (Kaitlyn Dever) and eventually recants her reported rape, while two female detectives (Wever and Toni Collette), states away, investigate evidence that could reveal the truth.

Unbelievable is inspired by the real events in The Marshall Project and ProPublica Pulitzer Prize-winning article, “An Unbelievable Story of Rape,” written by T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong, and the This American Life radio episode, “Anatomy of Doubt”.
