Mia Farrow Addresses 'Vicious Rumors' About the Deaths of Three of Her Children

Mia Farrow is speaking out.

The 76-year-old actress took to her Twitter on Wednesday (March 31) to share a statement about the “vicious rumors” about the deaths of three of her 14 children, after a family photo emerged that appeared to have one of them digitally removed.

“As a mother of fourteen children, my family means everything to me. While I chose a career that placed me in the public arena, most of my children have elected to live very private lives,” Mia started. I respect each of their wishes, which is why I am selective in my social media posts.”

“Few families are perfect, and any parent who has suffered the loss of a child knows that pain is merciless and ceaseless,” Mia continued. “However, some vicious based on untruths have appeared online concerning the lives of three of my children. To honor their memory, their children and ever family that has dealt with the death of a child, I am posting this message.”

Woody Allen Denies Allegations in New Interview & Says Actors Who Won't Work With Him Again Are 'Foolish'

Woody Allen is speaking out against actors who have announced they will not work with him again.

The 85-year-old director spoke out in an interview for CBS Sunday Morning, Variety reported.

In the interview, he spoke of actors who either spoke out against the director or renounced their work with him following renewed interest in the sexual abuse allegations against him from ex Mia Farrow and daughter Dylan Farrow in HBO docu-series Allen v. Farrow.

“I think they’re well-meaning but they’re foolish. All they’re doing is they’re persecuting a perfectly innocent person and they’re enabling this lie,” Woody said in the interview, recorded last year after the release of his memoir.

He again repeated his denial that he had sexually molested his then-7-year-old daughter in 1992, calling the allegations “preposterous.”

“It’s so preposterous and yet the smear has remained. And they still prefer to cling to, if not the notion that I molested Dylan, than the possibility that I molested her. Nothing that I ever did with Dylan in my life could be misconstrued as that.”

Here are some of the biggest revelations from the docu-series. Here’s what Woody Allen said about the docu-series.

Woody Allen & Soon-Yi Previn Slam HBO's Docu-Series 'Allen v Farrow'

Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn are reacting to HBO’s Allen v Farrow docu-series.

A spokesperson for the 85-year-old filmmaker and his 50-year-old wife released a statement slamming the new docu-series after the premiere aired on Sunday (February 21), in which his ex Mia Farrow spoke out about their relationship and her daughter Dylan Farrow shared allegations of sexual abuse against Woody.

“These documentarians had no interest in the truth,” Woody and Soon-Yi‘s spokesperson shared in a statement to Deadline. “Instead, they spent years surreptitiously collaborating with the Farrows and their enablers to put together a hatchet job riddled with falsehoods. Woody and Soon-Yi were approached less than two months ago and given only a matter of days ‘to respond.’ Of course, they declined to do so.”

“As has been known for decades, these allegations are categorically false,” the statement continued. “Multiple agencies investigated them at the time and found that, whatever Dylan Farrow may have been led to believe, absolutely no abuse had ever taken place. It is sadly unsurprising that the network to air this is HBO – which has a standing production deal and business relationship with Ronan Farrow. While this shoddy hit piece may gain attention, it does not change the facts.”

Woody has adamantly denied allegations that he sexually abused Dylan, which were first revealed in 1992 after he split from Mia. He was never charged, but a Connecticut prosecutor did say there was probable cause for a criminal case.
