Darren Criss hits the red carpet at Entertainment Weekly’s Pre-SAG Awards Party on Saturday night (January 26) at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old actor looked cool in a black leather jacket over a white and black buttoned-down shirt for the event.

Other stars at the party included Crazy Rich Asians cast mates Henry Golding, Michelle Yeoh, Harry Shum Jr, and Fiona Xie.

Guests sipped on Casamigos cocktails at the event.

Andy Serkis, John Cho, Lakeith Stanfield, Chris Harrison, Cody Fern, Costa Ronin, and Chris Lowell.

The 2019 SAG Awards will air live on Sunday (January 27) at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on TNT and TBS!

Michelle Yeoh will star in a new live-action series that will expand the Star Trek universe!

The actress currently stars on CBS All Access’ Star Trek: Discovery and she will continue to play a member of Starfleet’s Section 31 division on the streaming service’s new series.

“I’m so excited to continue telling these rich Star Trek stories,” Michelle said in a statement. “Being a part of this universe and this character specifically has been such a joy for me to play. I can’t wait to see where it all goes – certainly I believe it will go ‘where no WOMAN has ever gone before!’”

Executive producer Alex Kurtzman added, “Michelle has shattered ceilings, broken boundaries, and astonished us with her grace and gravitas for decades. As a human, I adore her. As an actor, I revere her. Erika and Boey are remarkable, exciting writers who bring a fresh perspective to the world of Star Trek, and we’re all thrilled to explore the next wild chapter in the life of Captain Philippa Georgiou.”

The cast of Crazy Rich Asians appears on stage to accept the award for Best Comedy at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 13) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The film beat out Deadpool 2, The Death of Stalin, The Favourite, Game Night, and Sorry to Bother You to win the award.

Stepping out for the event were Constance Wu, Gemma Chan, Awkwafina, Nico Santos (also a nominee for his work on Superstore), Ken Jeong, Harry Shum Jr., and director Jon M. Chu. Producer Nina Jacobson accepted the award.

Though it did not win the awards, the movie was also nominated for Best Acting Ensemble, Best Actress in a Comedy for Constance, and Best Production Design.

The movie was nominated for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes over the weekend.

Michelle Yeoh brings her Crazy Rich Asians character to the 2019 Golden Globes!

The 56-year-old actress wore her character’s iconic emerald ring on the red carpet as she arrived at the awards show on Sunday (January 6) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“Because it was such a character in the film, it had to be instantly recognizable,” Michelle shared on the red carpet. “The color green is about life, prosperity so when we said with Eleanor she’s very particular and I know the ring that she will wear.”

Joining Michelle on the red carpet was the author of the Crazy Rich Asians book Kevin Kwan.

Entertainment Weekly has named their entertainers of the year and has unveiled four new covers featuring Cardi B, Darren Criss, the women of Black Panther and the women of Crazy Rich Asians!

The four women of Crazy Rich Asians – Constance Wu, Awkwafina, Michelle Yeoh, and Gemma Chan – were recognized for their amazing work in the global hit.

Cardi B is being recognized for her double platinum album Invasion of Privacy, her numerous hot singles, and more.

Darren is being recognized for his stellar work on The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

The women of Black Panther – Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, and Letitia Wright – are being recognized for their amazing work in the smash hit.
