The Rolling Stones are postponing their upcoming North American Tour, which was scheduled to begin on April 20.

A statement revealed that the band’s frontman Mick Jagger “has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment.”

We don’t currently know what Mick is dealing with, but we wish him a speedy recovery. “The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible,” the statement continued.

Mick added in a statement, “I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this. I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”

Mick Jagger just posted a short but sweet tribute to his late girlfriend L’Wren Scott.

The 73-year-old musician took to his Instagram to celebrate what would have been L’Wren‘s 53rd birthday.

“Thinking of you on your birthday,” Mick captioned a photo of the designer holding a white rose.

Mick also remembered L’Wren on her birthday last year with a sweet note.

L’Wren and Mick dated for over 10 years until she tragically took her own life in 2014.

Mick recently welcomed his eighth child Deveraux with his current girlfriend Melanie Hamrick.

The 73-year-old rocker welcomed his 8th child with his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick earlier in the month.

Melanie posted a photo of the baby boy with the caption, “I’m so love with my baby Deveraux Jagger �’� Thank you @lizzyjagger for the sweet introduction 😍😂 ❤️”

Mick Jagger has welcomed a baby boy with his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick!

This is the eighth child for the 73-year-old rocker, and his first with his 29-year-old dancer girlfriend.

Mick‘s other children include Karis Hunt, 46, Jade, 45, Elizabeth, 32, James, 31, Georgia, 24 and Gabriel, 18. He then had a child Lucas, 17, born in 1999.

Mick Jagger belts out a song while performing with The Rolling Stones during Desert Trip music festival on Friday night (October 14) in Indio, Calif.

The legendary group took to the stage to perform many of their hits including “Satisfaction” and “Can’t Always Get,” when they even brought a choir on stage!

After the show, the group shared their entire set list to their Instagram in a photo where tons of fans can be seen getting excited in the background.

“#StonesDesertTrip show 2 setlist,” they captioned the image.

Over the weekend, Desert Trip will be featuring other incredible musicians including Paul McCartney, The Who and Neil Young.

Mick Jagger and his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick are expecting their first child together, according to Page Six!

Although this will be the first child for 72-year-old Rolling Stones front man and the 29-year-old dancer, Mick is already father to seven other children.

The couple have been dating since 2014, although they have kept their relationship very quiet.

According to The Sun, the couple is not planning on getting married but are incredibly excited about the new addition.
