Kat and David ran into Mohamed Hadid on their way into the restaurant. He is a frequent patron of Il Pastaio and was sitting at an outdoor table right by the entrance.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik just celebrated their first Christmas together as parents!
The 25-year-old model took to her Instagram Stories on Christmas night (December 25) to give fans a peek at what it was like to celebrate the holiday with her family.
Gigi shared one photo of Zayn holding their newborn daughter and another one of her laying on a mat. She noted that her daughter is wearing a Gucci onesie that was gifted to her by Devon Windsor and little booties that were gifted by her friend Olivia Perez.
Gigi and Zayn celebrated the holiday with her sister Bella Hadid, her brother Anwar Hadid and his girlfriend Dua Lipa, and her parents Yolanda and Mohamed.

Bella Hadid is helping her dad Mohamed Hadid celebrate his birthday!
The 24-year-old model stepped out with Mohamed on his 72nd birthday to have lunch at Il Pastaio on Friday (November 6) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Bella‘s older half-sister Alana Hadid also joined them for the meal.
“Happy birthday to my Baba,” Bella wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I love learning how to cook Palestinian food with you. Thank you for teaching me about our culture. I love Palestine and you so much. Your roots will forever be intertwined within our family line. It’s my favorite part about us.”
“What I know for sure is that… You are the best gentleman I have ever known. Your work ethic will always be A1. I will never stop working hard, with you in mind. Nobody makes me laugh more than you! Especially when Alana and Marielle are in the picture. Then we don’t stop laughing for days. You are fun. You are kind. You make people feel welcomed and loved. Always. Thank you for being YOU. I love you my baba,” she wrote.

Mohamed Hadid, the dad to Gigi and Bella Hadid, is opening up about his experience being the father to two very famous individuals.
“People don’t look at me as Mohamed Hadid. They look at me as the father of Gigi and Bella and Anwar and Alana and Marielle,” the 71-year-old businessman told The Times. “It’s dangerous for me to be their father. I have to be very careful. Everything I do is a reflection on them. [People] use my kids as an instrument to harass me.”
He continued, “Just being their father is a tremendous burden on me. They were my kids. Now I’m their father. It is what it is.”
Then, he added, “We are not the Kardashians. We are actually much more private than people tend to think. We know the Kardashians as friends. Kendall [Jenner] is a great friend of my daughters and we have a lot of respect for what they do, and how they did it. They are good people and they created something so unusual that you have to commend them.”
“But I don’t use my kids to enhance my career. I protect them. I watch over them. I don’t want to take them out on the street and take pictures with them. Would we ever do a show? No, I don’t think that will happen,” Mohamed said.

Gigi Hadid‘s dad Mohamed had fans thinking she had given birth to her first child with partner Zayn Malik when he wrote a note to his grandchild and posted it on Instagram.
Since posting the note, Mohamed actually deleted it because it caused such a fan frenzy that she had already welcomed her baby daughter.
Before deleting the post, fans noticed that Mohamed replied to a comment that claimed Gigi had not yet given birth. A fan asked if Gigi had given birth and he responded, “no not yet.” You can see a screen grab of the comment right here.
