Bad Bunny will make his acting debut in Narcos: Mexico!

The 26-year-old “Yo Perreo Sola” singer will play Arturo “Kitty” Paez, a member of the Narco Juniors gang, headed by Ramon Arellano Felix (Manuel Masalva) in the show’s third season, according to Rolling Stone.

The gang is comprised of “rich, well-connected kids from upper society who fell in with the cartel life for the money, drugs, and violence,” according to the press release.

Bad Bunny first revealed the news in a Rolling Stone interview back in May, explaining that he was shooting scenes earlier in the year before being forced to pause due to the pandemic.

But in this war, truth is the first casualty — and every arrest, murder, and take-down only pushes real victory further away.”

Boyd Holbrook's Exit from 'Narcos' Confirmed, Season 3 Teaser Trailer Released

Boyd Holbrook will not be returning to the Netflix series Narcos for the upcoming third season.

The 35-year-old actor has not been featured in promo materials for the upcoming season and now THR has confirmed his exit from the show.

Narcos season three will premiere on September 1 and the first teaser trailer was just released.

Here’s the season synopsis: “In a post-Pablo Escobar world, those final words spoken in the last season of the Netflix original series Narcos foreshadow the upcoming season’s pivot into the corrupt, powerful and wildly profitable world of Colombia’s Cali Cartel – the biggest drug lords you’ve probably never heard of. Now that the bloody hunt for Pablo Escobar has ended, the DEA turns its attention to the richest drug trafficking organization in the world: the Cali Cartel. Led by four powerful godfathers, this cartel operates much differently than Escobar’s, preferring to bribe government officials and keep its violent actions out of the headlines.”

Wagner Moura Had To Learn How To Speak Spanish To Play Pablo Escobar For 'Narcos'!

Wagner Moura has opened up about having to learn how to speak Spanish in order to properly play notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar in Narcos.

“It’s probably the most difficult thing I’ve ever done as an actor because I had to learn an entire language in order to play a character that is already really really hard to play,” the 40-year-old actor recently told the LATimes. “We speak Portuguese in Brazil, and I could understand Spanish a little bit, but it’s very different.”

“At the same time, it was something that brought me in a very strong way into the character,” Wagner added. “I’m learning your language in order to play you so I started from the very basics. I dedicated a lot to it.”
