Andrew Garfield Becomes An Obnoxious YouTube Star in 'Mainstream' Trailer

Andrew Garfield and Maya Hawke share a big kiss in the first trailer for their film, Mainstream.

The movie centers on Frankie (Hawke), who thinks she’s found a path to internet stardom when she starts making YouTube videos with a charismatic stranger, Link (Garfield) – until the dark side of viral celebrity threatens to ruin them both.

Andrew and Maya star alongside Nat Wolff, Johnny Knoxville, Jason Schwartzman, and Alexa Demie. You’ll also see a lot of recognizable YouTube stars in the trailer too!

Directed by Gia Coppola, Mainstream is being released with IFC Films.

“I’m very excited to partner with the IFC team. Not only have they worked with filmmakers and projects I deeply admire, but I really love and appreciate their innovative ideas on the film’s release,” she shared in a statement. “I’m so proud of everyone involved in the making of this movie, and I especially can’t wait for people to see Andrew’s radical performance!”

Alexander Skarsgard is All Smiles Promoting 'The Kill Team' in NYC

Alexander Skarsgard flashes a smile as he steps out for a screening of his new movie The Kill Team on Tuesday night (October 15) in New York City.

The 43-year-old Emmy-winning actor kept things cool in a white jacket over a white T-shirt and jeans as he was joined at the screening by his co-star Nat Wolff and director Dan Krauss.

Earlier that day, the guys stopped by Build Series to promote their new war movie.

The film follows “a young soldier in the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan who witnesses other recruits killing innocent civilians and considers reporting them to higher-ups as the heavily-armed, increasingly violent platoon becomes suspicious that someone in their ranks has turned on them,” Variety reports.

The Kill Team will be out in theaters and on demand on October 25 – check out the trailer here!

Keanu Reeves Supports His Sister Karina Miller at 'Semper Fi' Premiere!

Keanu Reeves happily poses alongside his sister Karina Miller at the premiere of her film Semper Fi held at ArcLight Hollywood on Tuesday (September 24) in Hollywood.

The 55-year-old actor stepped out in support of Karina, who is the producer and has been working on the film for three years.

Also in attendance at the premiere were the stars of the film Leighton Meester, Jai Courtney, Beau Knapp, Nat Wolff and Arturo Castro, as well as director Henry Alex Rubin.

“It’s really awesome to be here and be invited,” Keanu expressed (via ET). “It’s a great accomplishment, it’s a wonderful film.”

“He’s always been so supportive and so protective of me doing my own thing,” Karina said of her older brother. “I always really appreciate that so. And it was fun to have family here because our mom is out of town still.”

Semper Fi hits theaters — and is available on digital and On-Demand — on October 4.

Jai Courtney is starring as a police officer in the upcoming movie Semper Fi and a trailer was just released.

Cal (Courtney) is a by-the-book police officer who, along with his close-knit group of childhood friends, makes ends meet as a Marine Corps reservist. When Cal’s reckless younger half-brother, Oyster, is arrested after a bar fight and given an unfair prison sentence, Cal – driven by his loyalty to family and fierce code of honor – fights for Oyster (Nat Wolff) in this gripping tale of brotherhood and sacrifice.

Also starring in the film are Finn Wittrock, Beau Knapp, Arturo Castro, and Leighton Meester. You can see the movie in theaters, on demand, and on digital HD starting October 4.

Just the night before, the 24-year-old actress picked up the Actress of the Year honor during the opening night awards ceremony.

Zoey sat right next to Alex Wolff, who was also honored as the Ischia Filmmaker of the Year award for his new film, The Cat and the Moon.

Alex‘s brother Nat Wolff and his girlfriend, Grace Van Patten, were there to cheer on his accolade.
