Amber Heard and Nico Tortorella strike a pose together on the carpet while stepping out for the 2019 Emery Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday evening (November 6) in New York City.

The 33-year-old Aquaman star and the 31-year-old Younger star were both honored at the event alongside DC Comics.

The Emery Awards help benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute, where they believe all young people, regardless of sexual orientation or identity, deserve a safe and supportive environment in which to achieve their full potential.

Also in attendance to show their support were interior designer Nate Berkus, Batwoman‘s Meagan Tandy, Johnny Weir, Amanda Lepore, Leigh Lezark, Susanne Bartsch and David Barton.

The happy couple were joined at the event by Chrissy Teigen and her hubby John Legend, January Jones, Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble, and Nate Berkus and his husband Jeremiah Brent.

At the event, Portia opened up about how she thinks that people’s perceptions of same-sex marriage changed for the better when she tied the knot with Ellen back in 2008.

“The divorce rumors came and then we really knew the perceptions had changed,” Portia, 45, told Us Weekly. “I’m not kidding. I know it sounds ridiculous, but when that started happening I thought, ‘Oh, now we’re finally accepted.’ We get the same s–t as every celebrity couple.”

“I thought, ‘Wow, this is great that I’m pregnant, not pregnant, divorced, not divorced, whatever,” Portia added. “That means there is an acceptance for this.”

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent are welcoming a new addition to their family!

The Nate & Jeremiah By Design co-stars, who have been married since 2014, welcomed their second child together via surrogate on Monday (March 26), People confirms.

He was born in Los Angeles, weighing in at 8 lbs., 2 oz. And his name? Oskar Brent-Berkus.

The two made the announcement on their social media on Wednesday (March 28).

“Yesterday, life cracked open in a way I didn’t think it could again with the birth of our son Oskar Brent-Berkus. Love multiplied. How can love continue to expand like this. Hand in hand our family is basking in the phenomenon of it all. We love you little Oskar. How thankful we are. How beautiful it all is,” wrote Jeremiah.

“It is with so much love that we welcome Oskar Brent-Berkus to our family. We have waited for you, we already love you, and we as a family stand on the shoulders of so many people who have made it possible for families like ours to continue to grow,” wrote Nate.

The couple have a daughter, Poppy, who just turned three years old. Congratulations to the happy family!
