Netflix has been struggling to find a smash hit series in the comedy department in recent years and the streamer just decided to cancel four different comedy series.

For those who don’t know, Netflix never creates pilot episodes the way other networks and streaming services do. Instead, they will give the green light for a full first season and then decide if it’s worth continuing with future seasons.

Unfortunately, these four shows will not be continuing on the streamer. Two of them have been canceled after one season while the others are being canceled after two seasons.

Netflix has debuted the trailer for the upcoming animated series Masters of the Universe: Revelation!

The first part of the season, which will consist of five episodes, will debut on the streaming service on July 23.

The reboot of the classic franchise, which serves as a sequel to the 80s series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, was developed by Kevin Smith.

Here is the official synopsis: “The war for Eternia culminates in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.”

The third and final movie in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth series will be released next month and the poster has been revealed!

Charlize Theron is sharing the plans for the sequel to The Old Guard!

Speaking briefly with Variety, the 45-year-old actress confirmed that the second film based on the graphic novel will be kicking off at the start of 2022.

Charlize also confirmed that Marwan Kenzari and Luca Marinelli will be back for the film as well.

If you don’t know, The Old Guard focused on a covert group of tight-knit mercenaries with a mysterious inability to die have fought to protect the mortal world for centuries.

The team’s extraordinary abilities are suddenly exposed, and it’s up to leader Andy (Theron) and Nile (played by KiKi Layne), the newest soldier to join their ranks, to help the group eliminate the threat of those who seek to replicate and monetize their power by any means necessary.
