The trailer for George MacKay‘s new movie has been released!

The 28-year-old 1917 actor stars in the upcoming western thriller True History of the Kelly Gang directed by Justin Kurzel.

Here’s the synopsis: Legendary outlaw Ned Kelly (MacKay) leads a band of rebel warriors to wreak havoc on their oppressors in this gritty and veracious western thriller.

The film also stars Russell Crowe, Nicholas Hoult, Essie Davis, Charlie Hunnam, Thomasin Mckenzie, Sean Keenan, Earl Cave, Marlon Williams, Louis Hewison, and Orlando Schwerdt.

True History of the Kelly Gang will be out theaters on April 24 in NYC and May 1 in Los Angeles. It will be available On Demand on May 8.

The two actors joined producer Marian Macgowan and showrunner Tony McNamara to promote their new Hulu series, The Great.

“We pride ourselves on not being historically accurate, so there is room to experiment,” Elle said during the event about how the series throws out historical accuracy.

She added, “You can look at so many oil paintings of someone, but they probably didn’t even look that way. So, it doesn’t help me so much as the script does with capturing the character that Tony has created, her essence, and what’s her journey.”

Nicholas Hoult is joining the cast of the next Mission: Impossible movie!

The news was announced on the director Christopher McQuarrie‘s Instagram account, who posted a photo of Nicholas with the caption, “Say, @nicholashoult, care to raise a little hell?”

Nicholas responded, “Love to. Though why stop at a little?”

Christopher also commented on Nicholas’ photo, “Things tend to escalate from there. Welcome aboard. #MI78″

The cast includes Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff.

Mission: Impossible 7 has no current release date. The last Mission: Impossible film featured Henry Cavill as the villain. Perhaps Nicholas will be playing the villain this go around!

Alexander Skarsgard, Nicholas Hoult, and Ed Westwick suit up while stepping out for the 2019 Fashion Awards on Monday (December 2) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

So many hot actors were at the event, including Sam Claflin, Fleabag‘s Andrew Scott, American Horror Story‘s Matthew Morrison, and Fantastic Beasts‘ Callum Turner.

Samuel L. Jackson and Anthony Mackie take on the system in the trailer for their new movie The Banker!

The actors, ages 70 and 41, respectively, join forces in the new visual, released by Apple TV+ on Monday (November 4).

The Banker, based on a true story, follows “revolutionary businessmen Bernard Garrett (Anthony Mackie) and Joe Morris (Samuel L. Jackson), who devise an audacious and risky plan to take on the racially oppressive establishment of the 1960s by helping other African Americans pursue the American dream.”

The synopsis continues, “Along with Garrett’s wife Eunice (Nia Long), they train a working class white man, Matt Steiner (Nicholas Hoult), to pose as the rich and privileged face of their burgeoning real estate and banking empire – while Garrett and Morris pose as a janitor and a chauffeur. Their success ultimately draws the attention of the federal government, which threatens everything the four have built.”

The drama, directed by George Nolfi, also stars Jessie T. Usher and Colm Meaney.

Cate Blanchett and Nicholas Hoult walk the red carpet while attending the world premiere of Joker at the 2019 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (August 31) in Venice, Italy.

Some other special guests in attendance for the premiere included Molly Sims and actress Adele Exarchopoulos.

Joker is one off the 21 films that are premiering as part of the main international competition at the festival.
