On the launch of her environmentally conscious brand: “Once I became aware of my impact on the planet, I wanted the pieces I wore to come with a story that was good for the environment. I launched BaYou With Love, a jewelry, skin-care and apparel line, to create sustainable and ethical products that I couldn’t find in the marketplace. I’ve since also teamed with Dell to transform the gold they recycled from old technology into jewelry.”

On emphasizing awareness: “The most valuable tool you have is your knowledge and understanding of every aspect of your company.”

On initiating change: “Being conscious of what we spend our money on is one of the most effective ways to create immediate change. My goal is to inspire a more sustainable and ethical approach to running a business.”

Rachel Bilson is all smiles as she steps out for the presentation of Rodarte‘s new limited edition capsule collection featuring artwork by Mari Eastman on Thursday night (August 1) at Milk Studios in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old The OC actress looked pretty in a denim jacket over a black dress and white T-shirt as she attended the event alongside Nikki Reed.

What an honor to spend a moment with one of the most iconic designers in history,” Nikki captioned with her Instagram post after the show. “Your sorbet palette was simply exquisite and everyone who attended today left with sparkles in their eyes. ✨til next time…”
