The Red Line is ending after just one season.

CBS made the announcement about its limited series on Friday (June 7), Deadline reports.

The series, produced by Greg Berlanti and Ava DuVernay, followed three Chicago families as they journeyed toward hope and healing after an unarmed African American doctor is shot by a white cop.

It starred Noah Wyle, Aliyah Royale, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Noel Fisher, Howard Charles, Michael Patrick Thornton, Vinny Chhibber, and Elizabeth Laidlaw.

The eight-episode first season of The Red line wrapped on May 19.

Kate Bosworth keeps it chic and sophisticated while posing for photographs at the 2017 Summer TCA Tour National Geographic Party held at The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills on Monday (July 24) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 34-year-old actress was joined at the event by her director husband Michael Polish, as well as Patrick Schwarzenegger, Michael Kelly, Jeremy Sisto, Joey Luthman, Noel Fisher and Sarah Wayne Callies.

“My favorite partner in crime… �’�,” Kate captioned with her Instagram post with Michael ahead of the event.

The week before, Kate and Michael attended the Balmain Los Angeles Boutique Opening Celebration together.

Noel Fisher and Layla Alizada have tied the knot!

The 33-year-old actor, who plays Mickey Milkovich on Showtime’s Shameless, married his longtime love in a “magical” ceremony on Saturday evening (July 15), People reports.

The couple exchanged their vows in front of 60 close family members and friends.

Noel wore Kenneth Cole, and Alizada wore a dress by Morilee by Madeline Gardner.

Their reception featured a Mediterranean-inspired menu and white wine from Patricius.

“We always wanted a wedding that was small and intimate,” Noel and Layla told the outlet. “It was a magical day and even more special having so much of it put together with the help of our loved ones. So grateful for the people in our lives, and that everyone was able to share this day with us.”

The two first crossed paths while co-starring on the TV series Godiva’s in 2005 – they met in the make-up trailer and shared their first kiss at the wrap party. (How cute is that?)

Meanwhile, when Frank (Macy) returns home from the hospital with a new determination to take care of himself without Sammi’s (Emily Bergl) help, she is forced to take more drastic measures to teach Frank a valuable lesson.

In a poignant scene, Fiona (Emmy Rossum) must make tough decisions regarding her romantic future with Jimmy (Justin Chatwin) or Gus (Steve Kazee).

Emmy recently shared some tidbits about her character Fiona’s love life in the upcoming season.

“She’s hot in pursuit of Dermot Mulroney, who’s not that into her, so she’s kind of a mess,” Emmy shared to Variety. “He’s in NA (Narcotics Anonymous) and trying to keep on the straight and narrow, and with her drug history, she’s not good for a recovering junkie like him.”
