Olivia Colman is a winner!

The 44-year-old actress took home the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role as Queen Anne in The Favourite at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Saturday night (January 6) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

In her acceptance speech, Olivia thanked “my bitches” Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz for working on the film together.

“Every second of working with you girls was such a joy,” Olivia said. “So much fun. I was so sad when it finished. And I would like to tell you how much this film means to me — but I can’t think of it because I’m too excited!”

Congrats Olivia!

The Favourite‘s Rachel Weisz and Olivia Colman go glam at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Also seen walking the red carpet was their director Yorgos Lanthimos.

Both Olivia and Rachel are nominated this evening, and the movie is also nominated!

The Golden Globes will be hosted by Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Andy Samberg and Killing Eve‘s Sandra Oh this year. The show will air on NBC and the broadcast kicks off at 8pm EST/5pm PST. Make sure to tune in!

The ladies were also joined at the party by their male co-stars Nicholas Hoult and Joe Alwyn.

The Favourite is nominated for five Golden Globes including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy while all three actress are nominated as well.

Rami Malek and Olivia Colman meet up on the red carpet at the 2019 AACTA International Awards on Friday (January 4) in Los Angeles.

The two stars both picked up awards at the event.

Rami won Best Actor for his work in Bohemian Rhapsody while Olivia took home Best Actress for her work in The Favourite.

Also stepping out for the event were Glenn Close, a nominee for Best Actress for The Wife, as well as Bird Box‘s Danielle Macdonald and Nanette‘s Hannah Gadsby.

Hannah was retrospectively presented with the AACTA Award for Best Performance in a Television Comedy, which she won at the domestic AACTA Awards in Sydney last month.

The co-stars stepped out for the event on Friday afternoon (January 4) at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

During the luncheon, The Favourite was honored as an AFI Movie of the Year.

The film is also up for Best Motion Picture in the Musical or Comedy category and Best Screenplay at this weekend’s Golden Globes.

Olivia is also nominated Best Actress in a Motion Picture and Emma got a nod in the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category.

Emma Stone looks so chic while arriving for the the awards gala at the 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival on Thursday (January 3) in Palm Springs, Calif.

The 30-year-old Oscar-winning actress was at the event to support her The Favourite co-star Olivia Colman, who was honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award.

Both of the ladies are nominated for Golden Globes for their work in the movie and are expected to get Oscar noms too.

Netflix has released two new photos from The Crown‘s upcoming third season!

The two new photos feature Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, and Helena Bonham Carter and Ben Daniels as Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones.

Previously, Claire Foy played Queen Elizabeth and Matt Smith played Prince Philip, with Vanessa Kirby playing Princess Margaret and Matthew Goode playing Anthony Armstrong-Jones.
