It looks like Olivia Munn is returning to her roots.

The 40-year-old actress is in final talks to sign a multiyear deal with the relaunching of G4 Network, The Wrap reports.

According to sources, the deal will include a development deal and has both on- and off-air components. If you didn’t know, Olivia started her professional career as an anchor on the G4 series Attack of the Show.

Several weeks ago, it was teased that G4 will be making a return in 2021. The network should be making an official announcement soon.

G4 Media brand was a joint venture between NBCUniversal Cable and Dish Network. G4tv became the Esquire Network in 2013. The Esquire Network went under four years later before the NBCUniversal cable channel started laying off employees.

News of Olivia‘s deal comes after some sad news in her personal life.

Olivia Munn and her boyfriend of a year, Tucker Roberts, have broken up.

The 40-year-old actress and the Philadelpia Fusion president “broke up amicably at the end of 2019,” ET reports.

Olivia previously spoke to the site about her relationship with Tucker, saying, “I’ve really come to a realization with myself that I’m already in my happily ever after. And if I want to have kids or want to get married then I’ll do that, but it has to add to my life, you know? Everything has to add to my life.” She added that she was living her “happily ever after.”

While Olivia and Tucker broke up before Coronavirus lockdowns began, many couples have split up after the quarantines were set in place. See all 37 breakups if you missed it.

Olivia Munn is describing what it was like working with disgraced director Bryan Singer on the set of her first X-Men movie.

“It’s possible [to work with women directors]. It’s the problem that I always had in this business, way before the #MeToo movement exposed so much. You’re in it and you see these people who keep failing up, and they’re not that great and you think, ‘Really?’ When we shot ‘X-Men,’ I never shot a huge movie like that before. I didn’t know what was right or wrong, but I did know that it seems strange that Bryan Singer could check out and say he had a thyroid issue,” Olivia told Variety. “Instead of going to a doctor in Montreal, which is a very high-level, working city, he said he had to go to L.A. And he was gone for about 10 days is my recollection. And he said, ‘Continue. Keep filming.’ We’d be on set, I remember there’s a big scene that we’d have, and we’d come back from lunch and then one of Bryan’s assistants would come up and show us a cell phone with a text message on it.”

Olivia added, “And he texted to the actors, ‘Hey guys. I’m busy right now. But just go ahead and start filming without me.’ And we’d be like, ‘OK.’ And I never thought any of it was normal, but I didn’t realize that other people also thought it wasn’t normal. And the other people who thought it wasn’t normal would be people at high levels, people who make decisions on whether to hire this person.”

She continued, “Come to find out it is really strange and it wasn’t OK. But this person is allowed to continue to go on. Fox still gives him Bohemian Rhapsody, and then we all know what happened.”

Olivia also said, “I think that if we made way for more of those people and held people accountable, there’s so many great human beings out there and directors and artists. It’s not just with women but with minorities. And representation matters. You don’t know if things are possible until you see other people doing it.”

Is a wedding in Olivia Munn‘s future?! Not so fast…

While promoting her new Netflix movie Love Wedding Repeat, the 39-year-old actress was asked if she has her own dream wedding in mind.

“No. I never have ever been that girl,” Olivia admitted to Variety. “And I’ll hear about friends who have, and I’ve just never been the person that’s like, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to get married. This is what it’s going to be like, what my ring would be.’ I don’t really have any of those.”

Olivia went on to say that even the idea of marriage makes her anxious.

“The idea of getting married has always made me a little … It gives me … I don’t know what that word is for … I’m like, ‘It’s hot in here, right?’ It’s like, ‘Really?’” Olivia added. “Yeah, I just feel like to pick one person forever.”

Olivia has been quietly dating boyfriend Tucker Roberts for over two years now.

Henry Golding and Liv Lo look like the best pet parents!

The Crazy Rich Asians star and his wife were spotted walking their new foster pup, Stella, around the neighborhood in Los Angeles on Friday (April 3).

Henry and Liv turned to pal Olivia Munn for help in finding a pet to foster amid the coronavirus pandemic, and she found Stella for them.

“So today was a hug[e] day at the Golding house hold, we became foster parents for this little pup Stella,” Henry proudly announced on his Instagram. “Sadly with Covid 19 alot of the adoption shelters still need to find homes for these beauty’s, what better way to share your home in quarantine than with a loving fuzzball.”

He continued, “Our friend @oliviamunn has been such an amazing advocate for pets that need homes. so with help from @wag, @greatergoodorg, @startanimalrescue and @robertvillaneda we found our perfect match in Stella! 🦮.”

Olivia added on her own feed, “Thank You SO MUCH to my good friends @henrygolding + @livlogolding who texted just a couple days ago saying they wanted to foster a dog, and today are the foster parents to this beautiful pitbull mix, Stella! 🐶🤍🤍⁣⁣.”

The Dean Craig-directed movie stars Sam Claflin, Olivia Munn, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joel Fry, Tim Key, Aisling Bea, Jack Farthing, Allan Mustafa and Freida Pinto.
