Olly Alexander (aka Years & Years) is the next artist to be featured on Lady Gaga‘s Born This Way Reimagined – The Tenth Anniversary album!

The 30-year-old singer did a cover of “The Edge of Glory,” which is the fourth song to be released from the upcoming album.

The album contains Gaga‘s original Born This Way album, along with six new versions of songs reimagined by artists representing and advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community.

In addition to Olly‘s music career, he is also known for his acting work in the HBO Max series It’s a Sin.

The songs that have already been released are Kylie Minogue‘s cover of “Marry the Night,” Big Freedia‘s cover of “Judas,” and Orville Peck‘s cover of “Born This Way.” The two remaining songs, whose artists have not yet been announced, are “You and I” and “Highway Unicorn.”

Elton John and the group Years & Years teamed up for an epic performance at the 2021 Brit Awards!

The legendary entertainer and the band’s frontman Olly Alexander joined forces for a cover of the Pet Shop Boys classic “It’s a Sin” during the event on Tuesday (May 11) at the O2 Arena in London, England.

For those who don’t know, Olly was the star of the recent HBO Max limited series It’s a Sin and the performance was inspired by the show. Elton was a vocal supporter of the show.

After the performance, Elton announced that a studio recording of the “It’s a Sin” cover is now available where every you get your music. Proceeds will support the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Adam Lambert and Olly Alexander both have very fun senses of style and they put their fashion-forward outfits on display at the 2021 Brit Awards!

The two singers met up on the red carpet at the event on Tuesday (May 11) at the O2 Arena in London, England.

Olly, who recently starred in the critically acclaimed HBO Max It’s a Sin, and his band Years & Years will be performing during the show with Elton John. If you didn’t know, Elton was a vocal supporter of the series and personally called up the cast to compliment their performances.

Adam presented the award for Best British Group alongside Olly Murs during the show.

Boy George also was on the red carpet and he just had dinner with Adam and his boyfriend a couple of weeks ago!

Olly Alexander is back to releasing music!

The 30-year-old It’s a Sin star returned on Thursday (April 8) with “Starstruck,” his brand new single as Years & Years.

It’s also the first new Years & Years music since 2018’s Palo Santo.

According to Olly, the song “came together one night at a studio in the countryside outside of London. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d seen so many stars, you get used to them not being there when you live in the city. Since we’ve all had to stop, all I’ve wanted to do is go out and dance. So I’ve been putting all that pent up energy into the music.”

“‘Starstruck’ is about the rush you get when you’re with somebody you’re really into, it’s about holding onto a good feeling and not letting it go. Like most of us I’ve spent the past year at home, and I wanted to create something super positive and fun for people (and myself) to bop along too. Whatever we’re doing or wherever we are in life, I think we all deserve three minutes of interstellar ecstasy.”

He also recently opened up about the It’s a Sin sex scenes, and the show’s impact.

Olly Alexander, the lead singer of Years & Years, is starring in the new HBO Max limited series It’s a Sin and he’s opening up about his work on the show.

The acclaimed series follows a group of gay friends who leave home at 18 and head “off to London with hope and ambition and joy… and walking straight into a virus that most of the world ignores.” The show was created by Queer as Folk‘s Russell T Davies and it follows the early days of the AIDS epidemic.

“I hope that young queer people watch and it gives them maybe a rich understanding of themselves and where we’ve come from,” Olly, 30, told Variety in a new interview. “We’re really standing on the shoulders of everyone that came before us. And I think it’s so important to acknowledge and recognize that and there’s a lot of courage and inspiration that I take as a queer person from seeking out my own history and my elders and how I’m connected to them, and how that’s impacted my own life growing up.”

Olly also spoke about the sex scenes in the show and how he prepared his family for them.

“I told my family, I told my mom, ‘Just so you’re aware there are some sex scenes,’” Olly said. “I actually, I spoke to my mom recently about this, and she was like, ‘I wasn’t bothered by it at all. It didn’t make me feel funny in the slightest.’ She said because I warned her about it, she was expecting it. I had a quite awkward conversation on WhatsApp with my cousins. But everyone was very sweet about it.”

All five episodes of It’s a Sin are streaming now on HBO Max.

Dua Lipa shows off her fierce style while hitting the blue carpet while attending the 2019 Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards held at the Grosvenor House on Friday (July 5) in London, England.

The 23-year-old “New Rules” hit-maker was joined at the event by Sam Smith, “Don’t Call Me Up” singer Mabel, The Black Eyed Peas – apl.de.ap, Taboo and will.i.am – and the members of Years & Years – Mikey Goldsworthy, Olly Alexander and Emre Türkmen.

Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and the other guests were amongst the winners at this year’s Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards, presented by Edith Bowman for the third year running, which recognizes and celebrates the powerful impact of music.

Ed Sheeran was also in attendance as an honoree.

Lady Gaga is stunning as she hits the red carpet at the UK premiere of her anticipated film A Star Is Born held at Vue West End in Leicester Square on Thursday (September 27) in London, England.

The 32-year-old entertainer was accompanied by her co-star Bradley Cooper, who makes his directorial debut with the film.

Also in attendance at the premiere was Gaga and Bradley‘s co-star Shangela Laquifa Wadley, as well as Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander and Sir Tom Jones who both came out to show their support.
