Samuel L. Jackson is going to be one of the recipients of an honorary Oscar!

On Thursday (June 22), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that their Governors Awards will be returning in 2022, after a year off because of the pandemic.

The Academy also announced the list of honorees, including the 72-year-old actor, that will be receiving honorary Oscars at the ceremony.

Amanda Seyfried is thanking Brad Pitt using the correct pronunciation of her name while presenting her category at the Oscars this past weekend.

The 35-year-old actress was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Mank and the award was presented by Brad, who won for Best Supporting Actor last year.

Lots of people probably think that Amanda‘s last name is pronounced “SAY-FREED” or “SAY-FRID,” but that’s not how to properly say it.

Glenn Close Reveals the Truth About Her Viral 'Da Butt' Moment at Oscars 2021

Glenn Close is opening up to explain what the true story behind that viral “Da Butt” moment at the 2021 Oscars.

The eight-time Oscar-nominated actress, who was nominated this year for her work in Hillbilly Elegy, contributed to the most entertaining moment of the night during a funny segment with Lil Rel Howery.

Lil Rel went around the room and asked nominees some trivia questions about previous movie songs. When it was Glenn‘s turn to reveal her knowledge, she had to say if “Da Butt” was actually nominated for an Oscar or not. The comedian assumed she wouldn’t know the song, but she revealed she actually did know it! Glenn even know the song was by EU and that it was in the Spike Lee movie School Daze. She then shook her booty during a little dance moment.

There were so many moments that happened at the 2021 Oscars that you didn’t see on screen, but thankfully there were photographers capturing everything when the cameras weren’t rolling.

Presenter Angela Bassett was spotted sharing a moment with her Black Panther co-star Daniel Kaluuya, who won his first Oscar last night. Carey Mulligan chatted with Thomas Vinterberg, the director of Oscar-winning international film Another Round.
