Hugh Jackman & Katie Holmes Attend 'Global Goal Live: The Possible Dream' Announcement in NYC

Hugh Jackman and Katie Holmes both speak on stage at the Global Goal Live: The Possible Dream announcement on Thursday (September 26) at St Ann’s Warehouse in New York City.

The stars attended the event hosted by Global Citizen to announce the year-long 2020 campaign which will culminate in a 10-hour global media event spanning five continents for the largest live-broadcast cause event in history.

Global Goal Live: The Possible Dream is being held to help achieve the Global Goals for Sustainable Development, a roadmap to end extreme poverty, tackle climate change, and reduce inequality by 2030.

Other stepping out for the event included Uzo Aduba, Pharrell Williams, Janelle Monae, H.E.R., and Usher.

Katie Holmes Helps Launch Global Goal Live: The Possible Dream!

Katie Holmes flashes a smile alongside Universal Music Group EVP Michele Anthony while attending the Global Citizen Presents Global Goal Live: The Possible Dream press conference held at St. Annâs Warehouse on Thursday (September 26) in New York City.

The 40-year-old actress was joined at the event by Janelle Monáe, Pharrell Williams and H.E.R. as they launched the brand new campaign, which will support some of the most impactful global development organizations on the planet.

Global Citizen and partners announced plans for the 2020 campaign — Global Citizen Presents: Global Goal Live: The Possible Dream — marking five years since the inception of the Sustainable Development Goals and only 10 years left to achieve them in time, by 2030 – for more information, click here!

DJ Khaled Cradles Pregnant Wife Nicole Tuck's Baby Bump at Diamond Ball 2019!

DJ Khaled is all smiles as he rests his hand on wife Nicole Tuck‘s baby bump as they arrive at the 2019 Diamond Ball on Thursday night (September 12) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

This is the first event the 43-year-old DJ and his wife have attended since announcing they were expecting baby number two.

The event is thrown by Rihanna every year to support her organization, the Clara Lionel Foundation.

Adam Lambert, Queen, Alicia Keys & More to Headline Global Citizen Festival 2019

Adam Lambert, Queen and Alicia Keys are going to be putting on a show!

The superstars are among the acts who will be hitting the stage for the 2019 Global Citizen Music Festival on the Great Lawn in Central Park in New York City on Saturday, September 28, organizers revealed on Tuesday (July 30).

The lineup also includes Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness as hosts of the annual event, which calls on world leaders to mobilize on issues in the global movement to fight extreme poverty.

Taraji P. Henson, Rami Malek, Bill Nye, Matt Bomer, Rachel Brosnahan, Elvis Duran, Joy Reid and Forest Whitaker will co-host the event.

Pharrell Williams, OneRepublic, H.E.R. and Carole King will also headline the festival, as well as performances by French Montana, Ben Platt, and Jon Batiste and his band Stay Human.

The event is free, but attendees must download the Global Citizen app for a chance to win tickets.

Jamie Foxx keeps it cool as he hits the carpet at the premiere of Netflix’s new documentary The Black Godfather held at Paramount Theater on the Paramount Studios lot on Monday (June 3) in Hollywood.

The 51-year-old actor was joined at the event by Chadwick Boseman, Laura Dern, Jimmy Kimmel and his wife Molly McNearney, Cedric the Entertainer, Queen Latifah, Vince Vaughn, Quincy Jones, Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh, and producer Nicole Avant.

Jay-Z, J Balvin and Missy Elliott are heating up the stage!

The three superstars were among the many acts who performed at Pharrell Williams‘ inaugural Something In The Water Festival on Saturday (April 27) in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pharrell headlined the evening of music with many superstar friends, including Snoop Dogg, Diddy, Usher, Busta Rhymes, Tyler, the Creator, Timbaland, N.E.R.D, Charlie Wilson and Fam-Lay. Travis Scott, SZA and Virgil Abloh.

Prior to their sets, the crowd enjoyed performances from Ferg and a DJ set by Kaytranada, as well as sets by Mac DeMarco, Rosalia, Amber Mark, and Radiant Children.

The multi-day music festival and cultural experience on the beach was created to unite the community and celebrate the diversity and magic of Virginia Beach.

It’s described as “an opportunity to bring the best of what Pharrell has encountered around the world back to his hometown. The weekend celebrates opportunity and the chance to empower everyone from the youth to the small business owners.”
