Piers Morgan claims he received a text message from Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, aka, Fergie, after his controversial comments about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Specifically, Morgan questioned Duchess Meghan‘s side of the story in her interview with Oprah Winfrey. Morgan ended up storming off the set of his morning show (before quitting), Good Morning Britain.

Tucker Carlson is speaking out ahead of his interview with Piers Morgan.
According to a report from Page Six, the Fox News host will sit down with Piers to discuss his controversial comments about Meghan Markle and subsequent exit from Good Morning Britain.
“How is it that the most privileged in our society get to pose as the most oppressed?,” Tucker told Page Six about the upcoming interview, “Piers Morgan dared to ask that question, and they hurt him for it.”
The hour-long interview will appear on Tucker Carlson Today show on streaming platform Fox Nation. Select portions of it will also appear on Fox New Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Piers originally called Meghan and Prince Harry‘s interview an “absolutely disgraceful betrayal” and disputed the couple’s claims that racism had driven them from the royal family.
He later defended his comments on social media.
“On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more time with my opinions,” he wrote.

Good Morning Britain‘s Alex Beresford, the weatherman on the morning show who called out Piers Morgan and caused him to storm off set, has just released a statement.
Since their on-air disagreement over the treatment of Meghan Markle by the press and public, Morgan quit the show. Morgan was very outspoken about his dislike of the Duchess while Alex supported her after the Oprah interview.
“There is so much that could be said. Piers‘ departure sincerely wasn’t the conclusion I was hoping for,” Alex posted in a statement on his Twitter account. “Over the last few years, Piers and I have had a lively, cheeky on-air relationship. We both wanted to be on the show Tuesday morning, and from our very public conversations on Twitter, we both knew how strongly our opinions differed on the treatment of Harry and Meghan pre and post the interview that has split the world.”
He also added, “I didn’t want him to quit but I did want him to listen. Personally, Piers has always support my growth. He’s given me advise on several occasions and for that I am grateful. I wish him well!”

Sharon Osbourne got emotional defending herself for defending her “friend” Piers Morgan during the latest episode of The Talk.
Morgan is under fire for denying Meghan Markle‘s reality and suicidal thoughts. He said, “I don’t believe a word she says, Meghan Markle. I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report and that fact that she fired up this onslaught against our royal family, I think is contemptible.” Morgan ended up leaving his morning show after storming off the set while being called out.
Sharon defended him at the time, and she defended him again on the talk show on Wednesday (March 10).
“Did I like everything he said? Did I agree with what he said? No,” Sharon said. “Because it’s his opinion. It’s not my opinion…I support him for his freedom of speech, and he’s my friend.”
She continued, “I’m not racist…I don’t care what color or what religion anyone is. Are you a nice person? That’s what I judge you on.”
Her co-host Sheryl Underwood said, “What would you say to people who may feel that while you’re standing by your friend, it appears you gave validation or safe haven to something that he has uttered that is racist, even if you don’t agree?”
Sharon then began getting emotional and said, “I very much feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist? What does it gotta do with me?”
“I will ask you again Sheryl, I’ve been asking you during the break and I’m asking you again, and don’t try and cry cause if anyone should be crying it should be me,” Sharon said.
“Educate me!” Sharon said with tears in her eyes. “Tell me when you have heard him say racist things.”
“It is not the exact words of racism, it’s the implication and the reaction to it,” Sheryl responded. “To not want to address that because she is a Black woman, and to try to dismiss it or to make it seem less than what it is that’s what makes it racist,” Underwood said. “But right now, I’m talking to a woman I believe is my friend and I don’t want anybody here to watch this and think we are attacking you for being racist.”
