Prince William and Kate Middleton are going on a week-long tour of Scotland and we have photos from day one!

The 38-year-old Duke of Cambridge visited Spartans FC’s Ainslie Park Stadium and played some soccer on Friday afternoon (May 21) in Edinburgh, Scotland.

At the stadium, William learned about initiatives in Scottish football that champion mental health. He also met with club volunteers who helped deliver food to the community during the pandemic.

William suited up earlier in the day to inspect the Guard of Honour on the forecourt of the Palace of Holyroodhouse. He was welcomed to the city in the Ceremony of the Keys.

While in Scotland, Will and Kate are known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn.

Prince William and Prince Harry both released statements today in response to the inquiry into the BBC interview with their late mom Princess Diana.

In their statements, the royals explained how the interview affected their family and how they believe it led to their mom’s untimely death.

William says that the interview “should never be aired again” and that the “deceitful way the interview was obtained substantially influenced what my mother said.”

For those that don’t know, this is the interview where Diana famously said that there were “three of us” in the marriage, referring to Prince Charles‘ future wife Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Prince William and Prince Harry have released separate statements to respond to the inquiry into the BBC interview with their late mother Princess Diana.

An investigation from retired judge Lord Dyson found that interviewer Martin Bashir faked documents to obtain his interview with Diana and that he acted in a “deceitful” way.

If you’re unfamiliar with the famous 1995 interview, Diana made some shocking revelations at the time about the inner workings of royal life and her relationships with other members of the Royal Family, including her husband at the time, Prince Charles.

This is also the same interview where Diana famously said that there were “three of us” in the marriage, referring to Charles‘ future wife Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Prince William rarely posts on social media personally, but it appears that he did to announce that he received the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine.

The 38-year-old royal is not the first in his family to receive the vaccine. His dad Prince Charles got it a few months ago and his grandmother, the Queen, also got her doses.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are thanking their royal fans for their condolences following the passing of Prince Philip last month.

The note from Kensington Palace was revealed to the masses in a new Instagram, which thanked well wishers for their thoughts during their time of grievance.

The 39-year-old Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William marked Mental Health Awareness Week by highlighting programs aimed at children’s wellbeing on Thursday (May 13) in Wolverhampton, England.

Will and Kate met with staff and young people at the center before enjoying lunch and hearing about the support The Way has offered to young people since opening in 2016. The couple was seen playing a game of ping pong during their visit!

While playing ping pong, Will told others there that “Catherine is really good at table tennis.” He added, “This could go on for hours. Talk amongst yourselves!”
