Priscilla Presley Breaks Her Silence on Grandson Benjamin Keough's Tragic Death

Priscilla Presley has released a statement after the tragic death of her grandson Benjamin Keough, 27, who died by suicide last week.

“These are some of the darkest days of my family’s life. The shock of losing Ben has been devastating. Trying to put all the pieces together of all the possible whys has penetrated my soul. Each day I wake up I pray it will get better. Then, I think of my daughter [Lisa Marie Presely] and the pain she is going through as she was a doting mother. Ben’s father, Danny, who is completely lost, as Ben was his only son. Riley, so loving and so close to him; Harper and Finley, who absolutely adored Ben. Navarone, who struggles deeply with loss and death. Rest In Peace Ben, you were loved,” Priscilla wrote on her Facebook page.

Ben‘s sister Riley wrote a touching tribute a few days ago as well.

Our continued thoughts are with Ben‘s family and loved ones during this tragic time.

Olivia DeJonge to Play Priscilla Presley in Elvis Movie

Olivia DeJonge has landed the coveted role of Priscilla Presley in the upcoming Elvis movie to be directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Austin Butler is set to play the late rock star and Tom Hanks will play his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

Olivia is best known for her work on the Netflix series The Society.

Olivia is capable of manifesting the complex depth and presence that has made Priscilla Presley an icon in her own right. She’s an extremely talented young actor and the perfect counterpoint to Austin’s Elvis,” Baz told Deadline in a statement.

Baz‘s movie “covers the seminal legend’s growth from dirt poor singer to global icon, seen through the prism of his complex relationship over two decades with manager Colonel Tom Parker.”

Michael Buble Gets His Star at Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony!

Congratulations, Michael Buble!

The 43-year-old “It’s a Beautiful Day” singer was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday (November 16) in Hollywood – the same day his new studio album Love dropped!

Michael was joined by his tearful wife Luisana Lopilato and his parents, as well as David Foster, Priscilla Presley, and more.

“The longer I live, the more I realize that love isn’t free,” Michael said during his speech. “Love has a great cost. The more you love, the more you hurt. When I woke up this morning, I thought about that because I thought that for all of you people — all of those people who have loved me and supported me through the good times and the bad, I would risk that love a million times over for all of you. So thank you so much for that great honor today.”

He also thanked his 5-year-old son Noah, his 2-year-old son Elias, and 3-month-old daughter Vida: “My children, who have given me a purpose for life and have made days like this even sweeter … I can truly understand how beautiful the good moments are.”

“My wife, there’s nothing I can really say that can express how I feel about her and what we’ve been through,” he added. “She is my hero and my rock.”

“My record being out today and having a star here on the Walk of Fame, I have personally never felt so self-important before,” he laughed. “I think everyone in this business probably struggles with not mixing up who you are with what you do and trying to separate your ego from your spirit.”

ICYMI, Michael recently announced his 2019 tour dates, his first tour since Noah’s cancer diagnosis in 2016.
