Allison Janney knows how to make an entrance!
Property Brothers stars Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott were visibly shocked when Allison joined them for a kitchen demolition in a dramatic backless red gown and construction boots in the latest episode of their spinoff show Celebrity IOU, which features stars giving back to important people in their lives by gifting them home renovations.
Allison gave back to her assistant and close friend Ilana, who has worked for the award-winning actress for over 20 years, by updating her kitchen, dining room and living area.
“To do this for Ilana feels right,” Allison said. “It feels really good to give to someone like her who’s been there for me in ways I would have never expected.”
Other notable guests on Celebrity IOU include Brad Pitt and Zooey Deschanel, who has been dating Jonathan for over a year.

J.D. Scott is opening up about his health.
The 43-year-old Property Brothers At Home star revealed he’s been struggling with an illness for over a year on his Instagram on Monday (July 8).
J.D. spoke about his sickness alongside fiancee Annalee Belle in a video.
He explained his multiple symptoms, including extreme sensitivity to temperatures over 70 degrees and having to stay in bed for days.
“What [doctors] thought it was, was an autoimmune disease…after months and months,” but then neurologists believed he “had two brain aneurysms.”
“The MRIs were quick, but every appointment with a specialist took at least a month, if not several, to get in,” said Annalee.
Another symptom was a “crawly feeling” in his head, which doctors said could be a “pretty rare” condition called a nummular headache.
“He said to me, ‘It is possible that you’re not suffering from one thing, that it’s a few things that are culminating into these symptoms.’”
Doctors went on to believe it was a combination of issues, and he altered his diet and lifestyle and found some relief. He explained that he felt “like a bubble boy.”
“Not having the friends that you normally have is not fun,” he added.

The Property Brothers and Brother vs. Brother stars completely revamped their big brother’s bachelor pad in Las Vegas during this week’s episode of Property Brothers: Forever Home.
The finished product is J.D. and his fiancee Annalee Belle‘s newlywed dream home.
“I’m starting to tear up,” J.D. says in the clip. “It doesn’t seem like the same place. It seems like we wandered into someone else’s house. … I approve.”
“Oh my gosh, it’s so pretty!” Annalee adds. “It’s like exactly what we wanted.”
“I mean, maybe a little nicer than the couch you’ve had for 20-plus years,” Drew jokes.

They have a ton going on including their HGTV shows, their production company, Scott Brothers Entertainment, their home decor brand Scott Living, and more. The half a billion dollar number is based on their Scott Living sales.
The brothers revealed the figure in their interview with Entrepreneur magazine.
“There are probably less than 100 actors who make more than we do across our empire,” Jonathan said. “We thought it was the bee’s knees to be a successful actor, but pursuing that would have never opened up this world to us.”
