Jamie Foxx, Laura Dern & Chadwick Boseman Support 'The Black Godfather' Premiere!

Jamie Foxx keeps it cool as he hits the carpet at the premiere of Netflix’s new documentary The Black Godfather held at Paramount Theater on the Paramount Studios lot on Monday (June 3) in Hollywood.

The 51-year-old actor was joined at the event by Chadwick Boseman, Laura Dern, Jimmy Kimmel and his wife Molly McNearney, Cedric the Entertainer, Queen Latifah, Vince Vaughn, Quincy Jones, Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh, and producer Nicole Avant.

Who is the Black Godfather? Witness the exceptional and unlikely rise of Clarence Avant, a music executive who influenced legends such as Bill Withers, Snoop Dogg, Quincy Jones, Muhammad Ali, Hank Aaron, Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and so many more.

Quincy Jones Pays Tribute to Ex-Wife Peggy Lipton After Her Death

Quincy Jones is paying tribute to his late ex-wife Peggy Lipton, who died over the weekend.

The two stars were married for 14 years and are parents to two daughters – Rashida (pictured here) and Kidada.

“There is absolutely no combination of words that can express the sadness I feel after losing my beloved Peggy Lipton…. My wife of 14 years. We shared many, many beautiful memories, and most importantly, we share two incredible daughters… Pie (Kidada) & Doonkie (Rashida). Regardless of the paths that our lives took us on, I can say with the utmost certainty, that love is eternal. Thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown me and my family,” he wrote in a statement on Twitter.

Rashida and Kidada added in a statement that fans can make donations to Seasons Hospice in lieu of flowers or gifts.

Diana Ross Joins Kids Tracee & Evan at Vanity Fair Oscars Party!

Quincy Jones' Daughter Rashida Joins Him at Hand & Footprint Ceremony!

Rashida Jones poses for a photo with her dad Quincy Jones at his Hand and Footprint Ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (November 27) in Hollywood.

Quincy was honored at the event and some of his celebrity friends who showed up to support included Usher, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Rashida spoke at the event to honor her father.

“Since he has had his hands and foot in everything you’ve ever loved, this seems like the most literal, best way to celebrate him,” she said (via ABC News) “…The truth is we can never honor the wonderful, unparalleled, indelible career of Quincy Jones enough.”

Snoop Dogg bends down to show off his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday afternoon (November 19) in Hollywood.

The 47-year-old rapper thanked himself during a speech at the event!

“I want to thank me for believing in me; I want to thank me for doing all this hard work,” he said (via KTLA). “I want to thank me for having no days off; I want to thank me for never quitting.”

“I want to thank me for always being a giver, and trying to give more than I receive; I want to thank me for doing more right than wrong; I want to thank me for being me at all times,” he added.
