Frozen 2's Rachel Matthews Tests Positive for Coronavirus, Gives Timeline of Her Symptoms

Rachel Matthews, best known for her work in Frozen 2 and the Happy Death Day movies, has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 26-year-old actress voiced the role of Honeymaren, the member of the Northuldra who becomes Elsa’s friend, in Frozen 2. She also had a role in the Hulu series Looking for Alaska.

Rachel took to her Instagram Stories on Monday night (March 16) to tell fans about her condition and reveal a full timeline of the symptoms she experienced.

“Hey guys, I tested positive for Covid-19 and have been in quarantine the last week. Unsure of what the next step is (been getting mixed info so will keep you posted) but obviously will remain in quarantine until told to do otherwise,” Rachel wrote in the note. “I’m feeling better but I will be posting some info that I hope will be helpful to some.”

“Let’s please be mindful of our decisions – now is the time to be smart and responsible. Let’s take care of one another!! Xx,” Rachel added.

Rachel also revealed that it’s hard to get a test and she “only got tested because I had been around a confirmed case and had been showing symptoms.”

Charlize Theron wows in red on the red carpet next to Demi Moore and Caitlyn Jenner at the exhibit opening of Vanity Fair: Hollywood Calling – The Stars, The Parties and The Powerbrokers held at Annenberg Space For Photography on Tuesday (February 4) in Century City, Calif.

The three stars were joined by Demi‘s daughter, Rumer Willis, as well as Sharon Stone, Rachel Zoe, Ashley Greene and Paul Khoury, Elizabeth Chambers and grown-ish‘s Emily Arlook.

Ford vs. Ferrari star Ian Harding was also seen inside the event with Angela Sarafyan, For All Mankind‘s Krys Marshall, Frozen II‘s Rachel Matthews, Sophia Hutchins and Lost in Space‘s Taylor Russell.

Guests at the event participated in an interactive photo booth designed by photographer Mark Seliger which replicates his famous sets inside the Vanity Fair party on Oscar night.

The exhibit showcases iconic images, cover shoots, and behind the-scenes moments from Vanity Fair and captures the magic and glamour of the film and television industry’s major players from the last four decades and will run from February 8 – July 26.

Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, & 'Frozen 2' Cast Attend the Film's L.A. Red Carpet Premiere!

Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell hit the red carpet for the premiere of their new Disney movie Frozen 2 on Thursday night (November 7) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The ladies were joined at the event by co-stars Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, Evan Rachel Wood, Sterling K. Brown, Jeremy Sisto, Jason Ritter, Alfred Molina, Martha Plimpton, and Rachel Matthews.

The movie will be hitting theaters on November 22 and tickets are already on sale for theaters around the country.

Jessica Rothe Joins 'Happy Death Day 2U' Cast at L.A. Premiere!

Jessica Rothe poses with co-star Ruby Modine on the red carpet at the premiere of their movie Happy Death Day 2U on Monday night (February 11) at the ArcLight in Hollywood.

The actresses were joined at the event by co-stars Israel Broussard, Phi Vu, Rachel Matthews, and Sarah Yarkin, as well as writer and director Christopher Landon.

The movie hits theaters on February 13 and it’s one that you won’t want to miss. The first film was a surprise hit and this one is just as fun!

In the sequel, Tree Gelbman (Rothe) discovers that dying over and over was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead. She gets stuck in the time loop once again, though everything is different this time around.

Jessica Rothe and Ruby Modine are all smiles while hanging out at the after party for the Happy Death Day world premiere on Wednesday (October 4) in Universal City, Calif.

The ladies were joined at the event by co-stars Israel Broussard, Rachel Matthews, Rob Mello, Phi Vu, and Blaine Kern III, as well as director Christopher Landon and producer Jason Blum.

The premiere for the new horror film took place at Universal CityWalk and guests got to check the “Horrors of BlumHouse” maze at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, which features an entire Happy Death Day section.

Happy Death Day follows a college student (Rothe) who relives the day of her murder with both its unexceptional details and terrifying end until she discovers her killer’s identity. The film hits theaters on Friday, October 13!
