Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone hit the red carpet together at the UK premiere of their anticipated film The Favourite held during the American Express Gala at the 2018 BFI London Film Festival on Thursday (October 18) in London, England.

The three leading ladies were joined at the event by their co-stars Joe Alwyn and Mark Gatiss, as well as costume designer Sandy Powell and the film’s writer-director Yorgos Lanthimos.

Here’s a synopsis of the film, which takes place in the early 18th century: England is at war with the French. Nevertheless, duck racing and pineapple eating are thriving. A frail Queen Anne (Colman) occupies the throne and her close friend Lady Sarah (Weisz) governs the country in her stead while tending to Anne’s ill health and mercurial temper. When a new servant Abigail (Stone) arrives, her charm endears her to Sarah. Sarah takes Abigail under her wing and Abigail sees a chance at a return to her aristocratic roots. As the politics of war become quite time consuming for Sarah, Abigail steps into the breach to fill in as the Queen’s companion. Their burgeoning friendship gives her a chance to fulfill her ambitions and she will not let woman, man, politics or rabbit stand in her way.

The film will hit theaters in select cities on November 23.

The 48-year-old actress recently gave birth to a baby girl, according to a Daily Mail report.

Rachel revealed her pregnancy news back in April during an interview with The New York Times while promoting her movie Disobedience.

This is the second child for both of the stars. Rachel is the mother of a 12-year-old son with her ex Darren Aronofsky while Daniel has a 26-year-old daughter with ex-wife Fiona Loudon.

Rachel is expecting a second child with Daniel Craig. This will be the second child for both of the stars. Rachel is the mother of an 11-year-old son with her ex Darren Aronofsky while Daniel has a 25-year-old daughter with ex-wife Fiona Loudon.

“I’ll be showing soon. Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery,” she said.

“Um, I think it’s kind of visible, I guess, right?” the 48-year-old pregnant actress told host Stephen while laughing. “I mean, I can say it.”

“‘For all I know, it’s a burrito,” Stephen cracked. “Too much pizza!” said Rachel. “Yes, I’m pregnant.”

Stephen then proceeded to ask her new child with husband Daniel Craig will be “raised American or English.”

“I suppose it will have to be bilingual,” Rachel quipped. “So, there are other words that come to mind… Well, for a baby, we don’t say diaper, we say nappy.”

Just five days ago, Rachel announced that she and husband Daniel Craig are expecting their first child together.

“Doing pretty good now,” Rachel said during the appearance. “I was feeling very dodgy for about four months, but now the good bit’s kicked in.”
