Justice League's Ray Fisher Makes New Claims About DC President, WarnerMedia Denies the Allegations

Justice League actor Ray Fisher is speaking out with more allegations about what happened in the investigation into his claims against director Joss Whedon.

The 33-year-old actor, who played Cyborg in the DC Comics movie, alleged that he was mistreated on set by Joss, who filled in as director when Zack Snyder had to step down due to a family tragedy.

An investigation into the claims was completed and Ray released a statement last year when that happened. His allegations were reexamined by fans and the media after several Buffy cast members spoke out against Joss.

In a new tweet on Saturday (February 27), Ray called out DC Films president Walter Hamada. He said, “Do ya’ll remember that time Walter Hamada and @wbpictures tried to destroy a Black man’s credibility, and publicly delegitimize a very serious investigation, with lies in the press?

He referred to the news that a new Superman movie will be written by a Black writer by adding, “But hey, Black Superman… A>E.”

Ray Fisher Says To Protect Charisma Carpenter At All Costs Following Her Claims Against Joss Whedon

Ray Fisher is standing and supporting Charisma Carpenter following her claims of abuse she was subject to from Joss Whedon.

The Justice League actor took to Twitter and called on fans to protect the former Buffy and Angel star at all costs.

“I am forever grateful for her courage and for her lending her voice to the Justice League investigation,” Ray wrote. “Read her truth. Share her truth. Protect her at all costs. ‘It is time.’ A>E #IStandWithCharisma.”

If you missed it, Charisma opened up about the abuse she was subject to from Joss on both of the teen series sets.

“The disturbing incidents triggered a chronic physical condition from which I still suffer. It is with a beating, heavy heart that I say I coped in isolation and, at times, destructively. Last summer, when Ray Fisher publicly accused Joss of abusive and unprofessional behavior toward the cast and crew during reshoots on the Justice League set in 2017, it gutted me. Joss has a history of being casually cruel. He has created hostile and toxic work environments since his early career. I know because I experienced it first-hand. Repeatedly,” Charisma posted in a lengthy statement.

After her statement, fellow Buffy stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michelle Trachtenberg spoke out about the claims and supported her.

Warner Media Releases Pointed Statement at Ray Fisher After He Said He Was Let Go By Studio

Ray Fisher revealed that he was “let go” from the DC Universe franchise following an internal investigation over Joss Whedon‘s actions on the Justice League set.

Now, Warner Media is disputing that claim.

“As has been previously stated, an extensive investigation was conducted by an outside law firm, led by a former federal judge who has assured WarnerMedia that there were no impediments to the investigation,” a spokesperson told Deadline. “Last summer, Mr. Fisher was offered the opportunity to reprise his role as Cyborg in The Flash. Given his statement that he will not participate in any film associated with Mr. Hamada, our production is now moving on. Warner Bros. remains in business with Geoff Johns who continues to produce Stargirl, Batwoman, Doom Patrol, Superman & Lois, and Titans for the studio, among other projects.”

Ray first came forward with the accusations against Joss last July, saying that he was abusive on the set towards cast and crew after taking over the film from Zack Snyder, who had to step away due to a family issue.

After Ray came forward, Jason Momoa stood by him and Gal Gadot also recently opened up about her experience with Joss. Here’s what she said…

Ray Fisher Addresses Cyborg Firing In Long Twitter Note To Fans

Ray Fisher is opening up about being “let go” from the DC Universe franchise following an internal investigation over Joss Whedon‘s actions on the Justice League set.

In his note posted to Instagram, the 33-year-old actor confirmed his Cyborg character was written out of the upcoming The Flash movie.

“I have received official confirmation that Warner Bros. Pictures has decided to remove me from the cast of The Flash,” he started his letter.

Ray continued on, saying that “despite the misconception, Cyborg’s involvement in The Flash was much more than a cameo – and while I do mourn the lost opportunity to bring Victor Stone back to the screen, bringing awareness to the actions of Walter Hamada will prove to be a much more important contribution to the world.”

He also states that Walter purposefully attempted to “undermine” the investigation in an effort to protect Geoff Johns, whom Ray also accused of the toxic work environment.
