Reba McEntire Could Have Had Blake Shelton's Seat on 'The Voice' & Fans Are Now Pointing This Out!

Reba McEntire revealed she turned down Blake Shelton‘s seat on The Voice panel.

While making an appearance on Watch What Happens Live!, Reba confirmed she turned down the chance to be on the panel and Blake has been a mainstay on the show ever since.

“It is very true,” she said. “It was a very popular show in Holland, I’m pretty sure, and I watched the tape, and I said, ‘No, I’m going to pass on that,’ because I don’t think I could ever be able to tell somebody that they’re terrible or go find another job or hope you like your nighttime job. I couldn’t do that day in and day out. I just couldn’t do it. So I did pass on it.”

Blake is the perfect choice. He’s done a wonderful job,” she said of the original coach, whose fame increased thanks to the reality competition series.

Fans are now pointing out that Reba turning down the show is a huge deal because it caused Blake to eventually meet his now-fiancee, Gwen Stefani! Gwen joined the show later on in The Voice‘s run and now they are engaged to be married!
