Tributes are pouring in for Cloris Leachman, who passed away this week at the age of 94.

Fans of the iconic actress and many celebs are taking to social media to share their memories of the actress and praise her for her work in the industry.

“Truly original and larger than life in every unique performance . An incredibly talented actress who will be deeply missed,” Reese Witherspoon shared on Twitter after the announcement of Cloris‘ passing.

Ed Asner, who starred with Cloris on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, shared an image of the two of them together.

“A picture from the last time I saw you. Always beautiful. Nothing I could say would top the enormity of my love for you. Until we meet again darling. #clorisleachmanrip.”

Another of Cloris‘ longtime friends and peer, Mel Brooks, also shared a touching tribute to her.

Cloris passed away earlier today (January 27) from natural causes, according to her family.

Reese Witherspoon has added a new member to her family – a brand new puppy!

The 43-year-old Oscar winning actress revealed the happy news on social media this week to her fans, and shared an adorable image of her new pup, named Major.

“Welcome to our family, Major!” Reese shared along with the pic.

Reese added another sweet pic of the Labrador on her Stories, with him laying on the green grass at her home.

Major is the second puppy Reese has adopted since the death of her Frenchie, Pepper, who died last year.

Reese brought home another Frenchie at the end of 2020 and named her Minnie Pearl, after the popular character from Howdy Doody.

Reese‘s eldest child, Ava Phillippe, also got her own dog last year, too!

Former actress Jessica Campbell, who starred in the movie Election alongside Reese Witherspoon, tragically passed away at the young age of 38 in December. Reese is now issuing a statement to the news.

“So heart broken to hear this. Working with Jessica on Election was such a pleasure. I’m sending all my love to Jessica‘s family and loved ones,” Reese posted on her Twitter account after learning the tragic news.

The day of her death, Jessica, a naturopathic doctor, visited with her mother and aunt after work seeing patients. She had been feeling congested, but did not suspect Coronavirus. Jessica went to the bathroom and never came out. When her aunt when to check on her, she could not be revived. No cause of death has been revealed and the family is awaiting autopsy results.

Mindy Kaling is dishing on Legally Blonde 3!

In a new interview with Access Hollywood, the 41-year-old actress, who is co-writing the script for the new movie, explained how excited she is to be a part of the franchise.

“I love the franchise so much,” Mindy explained. “I love Elle Woods as a character. And when Reese [Witherspoon] asked me if I wanted to write it, I was like, ‘Absolutely!’ I can’t wait to see what people think of the way we’ve written Elle Woods at 40. How Elle Woods is at 40 versus when she was 21 has been really fun to imagine.”

Just a few weeks ago, this original Legally Blonde star revealed if they’re coming back for the new movie, which is scheduled to be released in May 2022.

Reese Witherspoon is looking back at something that happened at the 2002 Oscars, where she presented on stage with then-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Just as Ryan was opening the envelope to announce the winner, he handed the envelope to Reese to reveal the winner. He said in the moment, “You make more money than I do.”

While speaking on the HFPA in Conversation podcast, Reese opened up about how she was caught off-guard in that moment.

“You’re reminding me of that! I forgot that ever happened,” Reese said (via E! News). “But you’re right, he did say that, and no, it wasn’t scripted, and he didn’t tell me he was going to say that before it happened on air. So I was a little bit flummoxed in the moment, too.”

Reese opened up about the pressure that women face when they achieve success.

She said, “There’s so few women that make a lot of money that sometimes they’re shamed for it, and sometimes they are expected to give more and do more and be more to others in the same position that, say, a male movie star would not be expected to. But I do think gender norms have changed quite a bit since that moment in 2000 or something.”

When Reese‘s daughter Ava was in the second grade, she came home in tears one day after other students told her that her mom is “one of the highest-paid actress in Hollywood.”

Ava was “so embarrassed” by what was said and Reese says she told her some good advice.

“I said, ‘Don’t ever feel ashamed of a woman making money. There are women all over this world who don’t have an opportunity or an education or the ability to make money. And the more women who make more money, will give more money away, will take care of their societies, will take care of their communities, will do more with that money. So don’t ever feel bad about your mom making money, and don’t ever feel bad if you make money, and don’t be embarrassed or ashamed if its more than your partner,’” she said.

Reese Witherspoon says that her family’s Christmas photo took an hour to accomplish along with multiple bribes!

The Oscar-winning actress took to Instagram to give fans a peek inside her Christmas at home with her husband Jim Toth, their eight-year-old son Tennessee, and her two older children Ava, 21, and Deacon, 17.

“Merry Christmas from our family to yours! 🥰💫🎄*it only took about 1 hour , 2 bribes and 3 retakes to get all these people in one picture * a small Christmas miracle for MOM😁,” Reese captioned the Instagram post.

Ava and Deacon‘s dad Ryan Phillippe spent the holidays with his family this year.

Luke Wilson is dishing on Legally Blonde 3!

During a new interview, the 49-year-old actor addressed the possibility of joining Reese Witherspoon once again in the upcoming third installment in the franchise.

If you forgot, at the end of Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, Elle (Witherspoon) and Emmett (Wilson) tied the knot in Washington, DC.

In his interview, Luke shared his excitement for the new movie, but hasn’t officially been cast yet.

“Of course [I’d do it],” Luke shared with Us Magazine. “As for the Legally Blonde that we’re hearing about now — I don’t know anything than the usual man on the street. And that’s really the truth. I’ve heard they’re writing it and trying to put it together, but they’re keeping it pretty firmly under wraps.”

Also in his interview, Luke gushed about working with Reese.

“I loved working with Reese, and definitely, that’s one of those movies where I never had that happen before to such a degree where when it came out, I’d go back to Texas and there would be little squadrons of girls who would come up at that age, like, 8 to 12 and 14, and they would have all these questions about Elle,” Luke shared. “They’d ask where she was and what she was doing and was she as great as she seemed.”

He added: “It’s just a good feeling. It’s one thing to make a movie people like, it’s another thing to make a movie that does well, but to have one that gets legs because of how people feel about it, that is a great feeling. To have a movie make a jump to generations.”

Earlier this year, it was officially confirmed that Legally Blonde 3 would be debuting in May 2022, with one of Reese Witherspoon‘s famous friends co-writing the script.
