Hulu Debuts Teaser Trailer for 'Nine Perfect Strangers' with Star-Studded Cast Led by Nicole Kidman

Hulu has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming series Nine Perfect Strangers and a star-studded cast is appearing in the new show!

The new series is a must-watch for fans of Big Little Lies as it’s based on the best-selling novel by Liane Moriarty, who also wrote the “Big Little Lies” novel.

David E. Kelley, who wrote and created Big Little Lies, is also the co-writer of Nine Perfect Strangers with Nicole Kidman returning to star in and executive produce the new series as well.

Also featured in the star-studded cast are Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto.

Nine Perfect Strangers takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort’s director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.

Nine Perfect Strangers, Hulu‘s highly anticipated upcoming series, finally has a release date.

Based on The New York Times bestselling book by author Liane Moriarty, Nine Perfect Strangers takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort’s director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. Hulu has released the star-studded trailer for their upcoming limited series!

During the 2021 Oscars, the streaming service dropped the trailer for Nine Perfect Strangers starring Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto.

The series is based on Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty’s latest book.

Here’s a plot summary via Deadline: “The series takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.”

Hulu hasn’t announced the release date for Nine Perfect Strangers yet.

The trailer for the upcoming movie Breaking News in Yuba County has been released!

The star-studded film is going to be released in select theaters and on digital on February 12.

Here is the synopsis: “After her husband goes missing, Sue Buttons (Allison Janney), an underappreciated suburban wife, gets a taste of being a local celebrity as she embarks on a search to find him. She quickly finds herself in over her head, dodging cops, criminals and local reporters all aiming to uncover the truth. After being overlooked for so long, Sue goes to exaggerated lengths to prolong her ’15 minutes of fame’ and keep the truth from coming out.”

Also starring in the movie, directed by Tate Taylor, are Mila Kunis, Awkwafina, Regina Hall, Wanda Sykes, Matthew Modine, Ellen Barkin, Juliette Lewis, Samira Wiley, Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins Jr., Bridget Everett, Dominic Burgess, Keong Sim, and Chris Lowell.

Regina Hall is celebrating her 50th birthday in the best way!

The Scary Movie and Girls Trip actress wrote a song for the special day and she performed it in a homemade music video that she posted to Instagram.

“Because laughter keeps you forever young I wrote a special song for a special Birthday,” Regina captioned the clip.

Her co-stars in the video are Zoe Terakes, Kath Ebbs, Grace Van Patten, and Tiffany Boone, and she credited The Way Back actor Melvin Gregg as the director.

Regina, Tiffany, Grace, Zoe, Kath, and Melvin are all working on the upcoming limited series Nine Perfect Strangers in Australia.

'Girls Trip' Stars Reunite on Video Chat, Talk Sequel Plans!

Jada Pinkett Smith got the Flossy Posse back together for a virtual reunion on her Facebook Watch talk show Red Table Talk this week!

The stars of Girls TripJada, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, and Tiffany Haddish – connected over video chat and even talked about possibly making a sequel.

“I think we’re all down, we just want to make sure it’s amazing,” Regina said about a possible second movie. “That it’s the right thing and a great thing.”

The movie made over $100 million in the U.S. and Tiffany said that the studio pushed back on making a sequel because of the salary demands from the cast.

“Then it was like, ‘Oh, you guys want too much money,’” she told the Huffington Post.
