'Grey's Anatomy' Promotes Two Stars to Series Regulars!

Grey’s Anatomy has announced some big additions for the upcoming season.

Actors Richard Flood and Anthony Hill have been promoted to series regulars for season 17!

“I am so excited to add Anthony Hill, Stefania Spampinato and Richard Flood to the Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy families,” executive producer/showrunner Krista Vernoff said. “They are huge talents who made a big impact with our fans, with our casts, and with our writers who are eager to write more for them.”

Stefania appeared on both Grey’s and Station 19 and it looks like she’ll be headed over to that show!

Grey’s is expected to return for its 17th season in the fall.

Benedict Cumberbatch & Felicity Huffman Couple Up at Pre-Emmy Showtime Party!

Benedict Cumberbatch happily poses alongside his wife Sophie Hunter while attending the Showtime Emmy Eve Nominees Celebration held at Chateau Marmont on Sunday (September 16) in Los Angeles.

The happy couple were joined at the event by William H. Macy and his wife Felicity Huffman, Kyle MacLachlan, Kerris Dorsey, Lucy Hale, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Bacon and his daughter Sosie Bacon, Don Cheadle, Emma Kenney, Richard Flood, Joy Lenz, Alyssa Milano and her husband Dave Bugliari, and Stephen Colbert.

Also in attendance was Stephanie Corneliussen, Ben Schwartz, Jillian Bell, Mandy Patinkin, Tichina Arnold, Madchen Amick, Ana de la Reguera, Kim Dickens and Katherine McNamara.

Benedict is nominated for an Emmy in the Best Actor category at television’s biggest night for his role in Showtime’s Patrick Melrose.

'Shameless' Adds More Season 9 Episodes, Will Split Into Two Parts

Shameless has received an expanded season nine order, and the new season will air in two parts.

The ninth season will be 14 episodes instead of 12, Showtime announced on Monday (August 6) at the TCA summer press tour.

The first seven episodes will begin airing on September 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with a midseason finale on October 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The second half of season nine will premiere on January 20, 2019 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Season nine, which is currently in production in Los Angeles, will also feature the show’s 100th episode.

In the new season, “political fervor hits the South Side, and the Gallaghers take justice into their own hands. Frank (William H. Macy) sees financial opportunity in campaigning and decides to give voice to the underrepresented South Side working man. Fiona (Emmy Rossum) tries to build on her success with her apartment building and takes an expensive gamble hoping to catapult herself into the upper echelon. Lip (Jeremy Allen White) distracts himself from the challenges of sobriety by taking in Eddie’s niece, Xan (Amirah Johnson). Ian (Cameron Monaghan) faces the consequences of his crimes as the Gay Jesus movement takes a destructive turn. Debbie (Emma Kenney) fights for equal pay and combats harassment; and her efforts lead her to an unexpected realization. Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) sets his sights on West Point and prepares himself for cadet life. Liam (Christian Isaiah) must develop a new skillset to survive outside of his cushy private school walls.”

Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, and Richard Flood also star, and Dan Lauria and Ashley Romans will have recurring roles.

William H. Macy Joins Emmy Rossum & Sam Esmail at 'Shameless' 100-Episode Celebration

Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy step out for the celebration of the 100th episode of their Showtime series Shameless!

The 31-year-old actress and the 68-year-old actor teamed up for the event held at DREAM Hollywood on Saturday (June 9) in Hollywood.

They were joined by their co-stars Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Jeremy Allen White, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney, Cameron Monaghan, Justin Chatwin, Pej Vahdat, Rebecca Metz, Chloe Webb, and Scott Michael Campbell.

Other cast members in attendance included Bernardo De Paula, Bojana Novakovic, Sammi Hanratty, Alan Rosenberg, Arden Myrin, Alicia Coppola, Jeff Pierre, Richard Flood, and Zach McGowan.

Emmy‘s husband Sam Esmail and Cameron‘s girlfriend Peyton List were there to show their support as well.
