Did you know that Richard Gere and Martha Stewart are neighbors?

The two celebrities are part of the same neighborhood in Bedford, New York, along with a handful of other celebs, including Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, too.

Richard was one of the many who saw Martha’s recent appearance on Today, where she whipped up one of her caramel mile high cakes, and called her up just afterwards to get one of his own for his family.

After finishing off the dessert on her Instagram, Martha revealed that it went to Richard‘s home.

“As seen yesterday on @todayshow With @hodakotb and @carsondaly by the way the phone call was from my neighbor @richardgereofficial,” Martha wrote. “He is a neighbor and he wanted the chocolate caramel mile high cake- we took it over to him and his family after the show!”

Richard Gere, 70, is a dad again! His wife, Alejandra Silva, gave birth to their second child together, 14 months after welcoming their first baby.

The 37-year-old activist reportedly recently gave birth at their home in Pound Ridge, New York. No other details, including the baby’s name and sex, have been released at this time.

The couple are also parents to a 14-month-old baby boy named Alexander.

Peter Dinklage, Julianna Margulies, and Richard Gere attend a special Cinema Society screening of their movie Three Christs on Thursday (January 9) at Regal Essex Crossing in New York City.

The actors were joined at the event by writer, director, and producer Jon Avnet, writer Eric Nazarian, and producer Daniel Levin.

The long-awaited movie is finally being released after premiering at the 2017 Toronto Film Festival. The film will hit theaters on January 10 and you can stream it via VOD on the same day.

Three Christs is about a doctor (Gere) who is treating three paranoid schizophrenic patients, each of whom believed they were Jesus Christ. The Cinema Society and Monkey 47 hosted the premiere and after party at Omar’s La Boite.

The film also co-stars Walton Goggins, Bradley Whitford, Charlotte Hope and Julianna Margulies.

Here’s a synopsis: In 1959, psychiatrist Dr. Alan Stone (Gere) arrives at a mental hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan armed with the radical belief that schizophrenic patients should be treated not with confinement and electroshock therapy but with empathy and understanding. As his first study, he takes on the particularly challenging case of three men—Joseph (Dinklage), Leon (Goggins), and Clyde (Whitford)—each of whom believes they are Jesus Christ. Hoping that by getting them together in the same room to confront their delusions he can break through to them, Dr. Stone begins a risky, unprecedented experiment that will push the boundaries of psychiatric medicine and leave everyone involved—including Dr. Stone himself—profoundly changed. Based on a remarkable true story, Three Christs is a fascinating and moving look at one man’s journey into the deepest mysteries of the human mind.

The movie hits theaters, on demand and digital on January 10, 2020.

Richard Gere, 70, is reportedly going to be a dad again!

His 36-year-old wife Alejandra Silva is reportedly expecting the couple’s second child.

Richard and Alejandra welcomed a baby boy, Alexander, nine months ago. Hola! is reporting that Alejandra is three months along in her pregnancy, though the couple have not confirmed the news officially just yet.

Richard has a 19-year-old son named Homer from his relationship with ex-wife Carey Lowell, and Alejandra has a 6-year-old son named Albert from a previous relationship.

Richard Gere‘s Apple TV+ series Bastards has been scrapped by the new streaming service.

The 70-year-old actor was supposed to star as “one of two elderly Vietnam vets and best friends who find their monotonous lives upended when a woman they both loved 50 years ago is killed by a car. Their lifelong regrets and secrets collide with their resentment of today’s self-absorbed millennials and the duo then go on a shooting spree,” according to THR.

The series was originally given an eight-episode, straight-to-series order.

The cute couple wrapped their arms around each other as they spent the day at a park on Saturday afternoon (August 17) in Tuscany, Italy.
