Rihanna shows off her long legs in a midi skirt while leaving a dinner gathering at Giorgio Baldi on Sunday night (March 28) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 32-year-old singer was spotted in an all-black look, pairing her midi leather skirt with a long sweater jacket and lace up heels along with her cool glasses as she and a few friends headed to their waiting car.

Rihanna‘s outing comes just days after she celebrated the 5th anniversary of her album Anti, which is the first album by a Black female artist to spend five years on the Billboard 200 chart.

“grateful to the most High for putting die hard supporters in my circle,” she wrote in the caption on Instagram. “congrats to everyone that contributed to this era, thank you team.”

Rihanna is certainly taking her time before releasing new music – but she just provided a slight tease that has the Navy all riled up.

The 33-year-old Anti superstar celebrated her last studio album’s five full years on the Billboard 200 on Wednesday (March 24), making it the first album by a Black female artist to do so in chart history.

In the post, she wrote that she was “grateful to the most High for putting die hard supporters in my circle 🙏🏿 #Anti #WomensHistoryMonth 💪🏿 congrats to everyone that contributed to this era, thank you team.”

When a fan commented that she should “celebrate by releasing a song,” Rihanna replied “I think I should” with a “soon” emoji, adding “Just 1 tho lol.”

It was also just revealed that one of her big hits almost went to someone else.

Rihanna‘s “Diamonds” is a global smash – and it almost wasn’t her song.

The 2012 track nearly went to Eminem, producer Benny Blanco revealed during an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music.

The track, which he wrote and produced with Stargate and Sia, was originally intended for Kanye West or Lana Del Rey.

“Stargate’s like, ‘Yo, we’re giving this song to Rihanna. It’s going to go.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know, man. Should we keep the beat for Kanye? I don’t know about it,’” Benny explained.

He said he also submitted the song to Eminem‘s camp for consideration, and he even recorded the song.

“I remember, at the same time, I had given a beat CD like a month earlier to Paul Rosenberg to give to Eminem. And apparently, Eminem had done a song to it, too. And I didn’t even know. And I’m sitting there… Dude, so when it happened, Paul was like, ‘Man, Em had that beat on hold.’ I was like, ‘What? I didn’t even know.’”

“I’m sitting there, and then I finally am like, ‘You know what, Stargate?’ I let go. I said, ‘You guys know better. Let’s do it.’ She cut the song. First of all, the second she cut the song, they were completely right. I was like, ‘This is the best song I’ve ever done,’” he admitted when he finally decided to go with Rihanna.

Kanye ended up on the remix to “Diamonds,” anyway.

“And then, this is how life works, full circle. Kanye West does a remix to the song,” he said.

The 35-year-old songstress accessorized her Caribbean blue look with a pink and blue checkered coat, with coordinating hand bag and pointed toe heels.

Rihanna dressed up her look even more with a multi-layered beaded necklace as she arrived at Giorgio Baldi restaurant to grab a bite to eat.

Rihanna found a new home!

The 33-year-old Anti superstar and mogul just paid $13.8 million for a mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif., via Dirt on Tuesday (March 16).

Residents on the street include her “FourFiveSeconds” collaborator Sir Paul McCartney, as well as an estate recently rented by Madonna during the pandemic.

Here’s more about the home’s history, via Dirt: “Originally built in the 1930s, the Rihanna estate was formerly owned by Mary Sheldon, the daughter of I Dream of Jeanie creator Sidney Sheldon. In 2016, Sheldon sold the dated house for $4.3 million to entrepreneur and investor Daniel Starr, whose acquisition of the property was chronicled on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing. Starr subsequently spent millions to demolish and rebuild nearly every inch of the house (and he would later sue his contractors for those millions, alleging fraud and shoddy workmanship.) Last year, the property was put up for sale, asking $15 million. The transfer to Rihanna appears to have gone down off-market, but the ‘Umbrella’ empress forked over $13.8 million for the premises, according to tax records.”

The 7,600-square-foot mansion features a giant black bull sculpture, an open-air central courtyard with an al fresco terrace, pool, spa, and firepit.

This is far from Rihanna‘s only abode: she has at least four other multimillion-dollar houses, including one in the Hollywood Hills, a vacation getaway in Barbados, and a condo in Los Angeles. Her main residence is in Century City’s “The Century” skyscraper.
