Rob Lowe Joins His New '9-1-1' Family at Fox Upfronts!

Rob Lowe suits up while attending the 2019 Fox All-Star Party on Monday (May 13) at Central Park’s Wollman Rink in New York City.

The 55-year-old actor will be starring in the upcoming Fox series 9-1-1: Lone Star, a spin-off of the popular Ryan Murphy series.

The cast of 9-1-1, which has been renewed for a third season, also stepped out at the event. In attendance were Peter Krause, Ryan Guzman, Oliver Stark, Angela Bassett, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, and Rockmond Dunbar.

9-1-1 will air on Mondays at 8/7c this Fall while Lone Star will premiere in the mid-season.

Angela Bassett & Connie Britton Join '9-1-1' Cast at FYC Event

The two stars were among the several actors from their hit show 9-1-1 at a special FYC event on Monday (June 4) at Saban Media Center in North Hollywood, Calif.

Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Peter Krause, Kenneth Choi and Rockmond Dunbar were all in attendance as panelists during the screening and discussion.

9-1-1 was renewed for a 16-episode second season at the beginning of 2018. Jennifer Love Hewitt will be joining the main cast in the second season, as well as Ryan Guzman.

Ryan Murphy Reveals How His Son's Medical Emergency Inspired '9-1-1' Series

Ryan Murphy is opening up about how a medical emergency that his infant son had inspired his new show 9-1-1.

The television producer appeared on the Fox panel at the 2018 Winter TCA Tour on Thursday afternoon (January 4) at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Calif.

Ryan was joined by the show’s stars Angela Bassett, Connie Britton, Peter Krause, Aisha Hinds, Oliver Stark, and Rockmond Dunbar, along with co-creators Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, executive producer Alexis Martin Woodall, and director Bradley Buecker.

“It was a really traumatic experience. I had a newborn baby. My son Ford was 11 months old and in the middle of the night stopped breathing,” Ryan said (via People). “We called 911. Obviously we were in panic and we were doing CPR and they showed up at 2 a.m. in the morning. There were 4 responders. They were incredibly calm and nurturing. They forced me to leave the room. They brought him back to life.”

“They only allowed one parent to ride with the child in the ambulance, so my husband David went and I stayed with our other one upstairs. The officers and responders stayed to get a report from me I had the experience if sitting with them and talking to them. They really kind of talked me off the ledge,” he added.

Prison Break doesn’t make its grand return until April, but stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are already opening up about reuniting for the reboot!

“It’s more of the same, but we’re a lot older. That’s the twist,” Wentworth, 44, joked while speaking at the Prison Break panel during the FOX portion of the 2017 Winter TCA Press Tour held at Langham Hotel on Wednesday (January 11) in Pasadena, Calif.

“We are like brothers at this point,” Wentworth added (via ET). “When I see him, there’s a level of comfort and familiarity that is like when I get together with family. I know that he has my back and I have his, and we get each other’s rhythm and style. We have a shorthand on set, so there’s a layer of comfort when I work with Dom.”

Wentworth and Dominic, 46, were joined at their panel by co-stars Rockmond Dunbar, Robert Knepper, Mark Feuerstein, Sarah Wayne Callies, and creator/executive producer Paul Scheuring. In case you missed it, check out the new trailer here!

Also promoting shows that afternoon and at the FOX TCA All-Star Party were Bones stars David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel, Eric Millegan, John Boyd, Tamara Taylor, Michaela Conlin, Gotham‘s Cameron Monaghan and Legion‘s Katie Aselton.

Aaron Paul hits the red carpet at the premiere of his new show The Path at ArcLight Hollywood on Monday (March 21) in Hollywood.

The 36-year-old actor was accompanied by his co-stars Hugh Dancy, Michelle Monaghan, Emma Greenwell, Amy Forsyth, Kaili Vernoff, Clark Middleton, Kyle Allen, Rockmond Dunbar, Paul James and Sarah Jones.

Also in attendance to show their support was Minka Kelly and Aaron‘s wife Lauren Paul.
