Rose McGowan Reveals That She is a Permanent Resident of Mexico

Rose McGowan is getting a change of scenery!

The Charmed actress shared that she had moved to Mexico shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic began in an interview with the YouTube show The Dab Roast.

“I just got my permanent residency card from Mexico, and I’m so grateful to have it. This is a really healing land here and it is truly magical,” Rose said.

When the hosts asked if she’d ever consider moving back to the United States, she said, “No, never.”

Rose wrote on social media last year about her move.

“I’m in a place called Coba (on the Yucatan peninsula),” she said. “I knew [Covid-19] was going to get really bad in America and I had a moment to figure out where I wanted to be. My lease was up in New York so I came here to Mexico where I’m living for a third of the price. It’s beautiful here.”

Rose‘s ex Marilyn Manson was recently accused of sexual misconduct and abuse by his ex-fiancee Evan Rachel Wood. Rose posted a video where she expressed her support for the survivors.

Rose McGowan Is Proud of Women Speaking Out Against Marilyn Manson, Her Ex

Rose McGowan is speaking out in support of Evan Rachel Wood and the other women who have revealed that Marilyn Manson is their abuser.

For those who don’t know, Rose was engaged to Marilyn for two years, but they ended their relationship in 2001.

“My statement: I am profoundly sorry to those who have suffered the abuse & mental torture of Marilyn Manson. When I say Hollywood is a cult, I mean the Entertainment industry including the music industry is a cult. Cult’s protect the rot at the top. Theirs is a sickness that must be stopped. The industrial fame complex chooses who they protect & who they’ll let be their victims. For profit,” Rose said in an Instagram post.

Rose continued, “I stand with Evan Rachel Wood and all of those who have or will come forward. And please don’t pull out the ‘why did they take so much time to come forward?’ question that shames victims/survivors, it’s what stops others from coming forward. And to all of those who have covered for monsters, shame on you. Rise and say no more.”

Evan reposted statements from several other women who shared their own stories.

In a video statement, Rose said she was proud of the women who are speaking out. She added, “When he was with me, he was not like that, but that has no bearing on whether he was like that with others before or after. It takes time to come forward. And again, I am proud. Proud.”

Holly Marie Combs Wants to Put an End to 'Charmed' Co-Star Feud

“My Charmed friends…I would like everyone to stop. Truth be told and it will be told is that our issues were and are at the corporate level. And we have the receipts. Just as the new cast were asked to be people they were not we were given ultimatums that were crazily unfair,” she wrote.

“And I will say to the ladies of the reboot…stick together…negotiate together and know that the discourse between us, you guys and crews being discarded and replaced is what they bank on. Division. That is all. Blessed be,” she continued.

“And for the last time I will say it’s not about any 1 person taking a job to support their families or themselves. It’s about an industry that sees us only as numbers whether it be follower #’s or $ signs. Cuz in the end and actually in the beginning that’s all we were/are. Cool.”

The latest tension occurred when Sarah Jeffery responded to Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan’s criticism of the new series. Here’s how Rose responded…

Rose McGowan Writes Directly to Sarah Jeffery, Explains Her 'Charmed' Criticism

Rose McGowan is responding directly to Sarah Jeffery, who stars in the reboot of Charmed. Rose starred in the original Charmed years ago.

If you don’t know, Sarah fired back at Rose and her original co-stars over a video that went viral.

“It sucks,” Rose once said about the reboot. “I’m glad people have jobs. But it sucks.”

Sarah took to Twitter to express her displeasure at the video, saying, “You know, I saw this earlier and I refrained from saying anything. I thought, better to just let them shout into the abyss. But I do want to say, I find it sad and quite frankly pathetic to see grown women behaving this way.”

Well, Rose is now responding directly to Sarah.

‘Dear Sarah Jeffery, I honestly have no idea who you were til you tweeted. I have been too busy fighting monsters & fighting for a massive Cultural Reset to notice who’s in the reboot. Absolutely nothing to do with race, that’s quite a stretch you took. I’m beyond glad any WOC has a well paying job. Hell yes to that. I’m sure you are a great actress,” Rose wrote.

Rose continued, “My quibble (google it) is about execs & producers & @wb network trading on years of my work & name in such a cynical and obvious way – a money grab to cash in on the Charmed name. I do not care that they remade it, I have far bigger things I’m dealing with. I do not nor will I watch a show I disagree with on principle.”

Sarah Jeffery Reacts To Original 'Charmed' Stars Slamming The New Series: 'I Would Be Embarrassed To Behave This Way'

Sarah Jeffery is speaking out after seeing original series stars Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan criticize the new Charmed series once again.

The 24-year-old actress who plays Maggie Vega on the CW reboot of the show took to social media to share her thoughts on the video of Rose and Holly.

If you haven’t seen the video, it features the two actresses, who portrayed Piper and Paige Halliwell, during a TikTok event, and briefly mentioning the new show.

“It sucks,” Rose claimed, before admitting that she hasn’t actually seen the show. “I’m glad people have jobs. But it sucks.”

Holly didn’t say anything about the show in the video, but did hold back laughter about Rose‘s comments.

“You know, I saw this earlier and I refrained from saying anything. I thought, better to just let them shout into the abyss. But I do want to say, I find it sad and quite frankly pathetic to see grown women behaving this way,” Sarah admitted in her reaction to the video that has surfaced on Twitter.

She continued, “I truly hope they find happiness elsewhere, and not in the form of putting down other WOC. I would be embarrassed to behave this way. Peace and love to y’all.”

Previously, Sarah and her co-stars Melonie Diaz and Madeleine Mantock opened up about how they hoped the original cast would be accepting.

Holly and Rose have been very critical in the past about the series.

Alyssa Milano, who played Phoebe, also shared her opinion of the show, which is now entering the third season.

“F— him and his lies is my comment,” Rose said in response.

“I told Payne to acknowledge and apologize, he has not. I said I didn’t want to destroy, now I do. Why do these men always lie? I will now make it a mission to expose him. I am not the only one,” she continued.

“I want people that have watched his films to know his morals are in your mind, his thoughts have become yours. Like in his ‘comedy’ Election, where the middle-aged teacher that fantasizes having sex with his young student, Reese Witherspoon. I want people to know Hollywood perpetrators show you who they are, their skewed view normalized. Men like Predator Payne, who profited from working Weinstein, must be stopped from not only assaulting, but must also be prevented from infecting the masses with their propaganda.”
