The debut trailer for Outer Banks‘ second season is finally here and it teases so much to come!

Outer Banks is a coming of age story that follows a tight-knit group of local teens (the “Pogues”) in the beach vacation destination of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After their near-death escape, Season Two finds John B & Sarah on the run – and in over their heads – in the Bahamas. New friends also bring new foes as they’re back on the trail of the gold, while the stakes for Kiara, Pope, and JJ rapidly escalate at home. The $400M is still in the game, but will the uncovering of a new-found secret reunite the group for a fresh mission? The adventure of a lifetime awaits, but uncharted waters ahead mean our Pogues must do all they can to make it out alive.

Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline arrive for a dinner out in Los Angeles on Sunday night (May 16).

The on and off screen couple headed out to Craig’s with their Outer Banks co-stars Jonathan Daviss and Rudy Pankow, who brought their significant others, Sierra Capri and Elaine, respectively.

The group had just attended the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, where Chase and Madelyn picked up the award for Best Kiss.

Speaking with ET on the red carpet, Madelyn and Chase revealed that they hadn’t meant to match their outfits at all.

“When we found out we were both wearing basically the same color, we were like, ‘Wait….’” Madelyn shared.

Chase added later that “we didn’t [coordinate]. Like, I walked upstairs … and I was like. ‘Oh my gosh!’ We kept [our outfits] a secret.”

The cast of Outer Banks has arrived!

Chase Stokes, Rudy Pankow, Jonathan Daviss, Madelyn Cline, and Madison Bailey all reunited on the red carpet for the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday night (May 16) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

Walking the carpet together, the show is up for one award at tonight’s show – Best Kiss for Chase and Madelyn, who are also a couple in real life.

If you don’t know, Outer Banks is a coming of age story that follows a tight-knit group of local teens (the “Pogues”) in the beach vacation destination of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, who in season two, are on the run and in over their heads in the Bahamas.

Netflix has released the first photos from the upcoming second season of the hit series Outer Banks!

The streaming service has also revealed when fans can expect the new episodes to premiere.

Outer Banks executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke said in a statement, “Season 2 is going to test our crew like never before. We’ve turned up the dial on everything fans loved about season one – more mystery, more romance and higher stakes. It’s a full throttle, action-packed adventure and these photos offer a glimpse into the next chapter for our Pogues. All we can say for now is buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride.”

Netflix has announced that the new series Outer Banks has been renewed for a second season!

Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, and more filmed a cute video to announce the exciting news on Friday (July 24).

Outer Banks showrunner Jonas Pates has said that he envisions the show going for at least four or five seasons, so fans hopefully will have this series around for a while.

“There will definitely be some new mysteries and some new ideas,” he said (via People). “It all comes off the same spine of the same story, but it branches out in ways that hopefully the audience won’t see coming.”

There are a bunch of other Netflix series that have received renewals throughout the past six months!

Rudy Pankow is one of the hot new Netflix stars that you’re about to fall in love with!

The actor stars as JJ in the new series Outer Banks, which is premiering TOMORROW (April 15) on the streaming service. We caught up with him to learn more ahead of the big premiere.
