Russell Tovey's New Hulu Series 'The Sister' Gets First Trailer - Watch Now!

Russell Tovey stars in the new Hulu series The Sister and the show’s first trailer has arrived!

The 39-year-old British actor is best known to American audiences for his work on the HBO series Looking and the ABC series Quantico.

Here is the synopsis of the Hulu series: “How far would you go to keep a secret? One rainy evening, Nathan is surprised by an unwelcome face from the past. Nathan has never been able to forget the worst night of his life: a party that led to the sudden, shocking death of a young woman. Only he and Bob, an eccentric old acquaintance, know what really happened… and they’ve resolved to keep it that way. But years later, Bob appears at Nathan’s door with terrifying news that threatens to tear Nathan’s world apart. Because Nathan has his own secrets now. Secrets that could destroy everything he has desperately fought to build for himself and his family.”

Also starring in the series are Tony Award winner Bertie Carvel, Amrita Acharia, Nina Toussaint-White, Amanda Root, Paul Bazely, and Simone Ashley.

The Sister originally aired on ITV back in October. All four episodes will debut on Hulu on January 22.

Another Broadway Show Has Closed Completely Amid the Current Shut Down

The Broadway revival of the classic play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf has officially closed after playing just nine preview performances.

All Broadway shows were shut down on March 12 due to the current health crisis facing the world and it’s unclear when shows will be able to resume performances.

When Broadway returns, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf will not come resume performances “due to ensuing cast scheduling conflicts amid the shutdown.” The production starred Laurie Metcalf, Rupert Everett, Patsy Ferran, and Russell Tovey.

This is the second Broadway play to announce it will not return. The new play Hangmen also has canceled its run.

Rachel Brosnahan & 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Cast Win at Artios Awards 2020!

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Netflix’s Marriage Story, Jojo Rabbit and Knives Out were among the film winners as the Casting Society of America handed out its 35th annual Artios Awards for film, TV and at separate ceremonies across two continents.

Rachel and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel cast took home the award for Best Television Series Comedy.

“Tonight’s three Artios Award ceremonies were a fantastic celebration of the many contributions Casting Society of America members bring to the global entertainment community,” CSA President Russell Boast said (via Deadline). “We are bolstered by the ongoing advancements made to recognize our craft and will continue our commitment to supporting and advancing the work we do worldwide.”

Russell Tovey and Steve Brockman are enjoying the holidays together!

The 38-year-old Years and Years actor and his rugby player beau posed for selfies together on Boxing Day (December 26) after Christmas on Instagram.

The two seemingly confirmed that they were back on again after splitting sometime around June of last year with a post in August of 2019. Prior to that, they got engaged back in February of 2018.

“Boxing slay,” Russell simply captioned the post, which featured the two handsome stars wearing paper crowns.

Ian McKellen, Helen Mirren, Russell Tovey & More Celebrate 'The Good Liar' World Premiere!

Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren happily embrace each other on the red carpet while attending the world premiere of The Good Liar held at the BFI Southbank on Monday (October 28) in London, England.

The 80-year-old actor and the 74-year-old Oscar winner were joined at the event by their co-stars Russell Tovey, Jim Carter, Spike White, Nell Williams, Stella Stocker, Laurie Davidson and Michael Culkin.

The film follows a career con artist (Ian) who meets a well-to-do widow (Helen) online. While the widow opens up her home and life to him, he’s surprised to find himself having feelings for her and changing the cut-and-dry swindle that he had planned.

Rocketman's Taron Egerton & Richard Madden Win Awards at GQ Men of the Year Awards 2019!

Taron Egerton and Richard Madden look so handsome while walking the carpet at the 2019 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Tuesday night (September 3) in London, United Kingdom.

The guys co-starred in the movie Rocketman and they both walked away as winners at the event!

Taron took home the Actor of the Year award while Richard won the Hugo Boss Most Stylish Man award. Fleabag actor Andrew Scott picked up the Hugo Boss Standout Performance.

More stars in attendance were Sebastian Stan, Guy Ritchie with wife Jacqui Ainsley, actress Aisling Bea, and Patrick Stewart and his wife Sunny Ozell. Patrick was likely there supporting his friend Ian McKellen, who received the Legend Award.

Russell Tovey & Steve Brockman Seemingly Confirm They're Back Together Again!

Russell Tovey and Steve Brockman are apparently an item again!

The 37-year-old Years and Years star and his former rugby player beau, who split sometime around June of last year, seemingly confirmed their on-again status with a picture posted on Sunday (August 11) on Russell‘s Instagram.

“Sunday. (📸 @steve_the_brockman),” Russell captioned the picture of himself in bed surrounded by the pups.

“My 🌎,” Steve commented on the post.

The two got engaged back in February of 2018. At the time, Russell said it was “completely unexpected” but was “very very happy and looking forward to having a proper party to celebrate when back in London.”
