Ryan Cabrera and Alexa Bliss are engaged!

The 38-year-old “On the Way Down” singer proposed to the 29-year-old WWE star on Saturday (November 15), which they documented on Instagram.

“Tonight was the best night of my life!! And it’s just the beginning!!!” he wrote on his Instagram Story along with a photo from the proposal where he could be seen down on one knee.

“One year ago we said hello, tonight I said YES 🖤 @ryancabrera,” Alexa wrote on her Instagram.

Alexa revealed that the two actually first met because of rumors that they were already dating. They then met, and hit it off. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Evan Ross wanted to ask one of Ashlee Simpson‘s famous exes for his blessing to begin dating her!

Ashlee‘s ex-boyfriend Ryan Cabrera just revealed that Evan tried to talk to him about dating her because they had been friends for so long.

“Evan, he used to sleep on my couch when he was 18 years old. We’ve been friends for like 15 years,” Ryan told TooFab.

He added that everyone in their friend group knew that Ashlee and Evan began talking after meeting at a pal’s recording studio.

Ryan continued, “[Evan] actually came to my house to kinda like, I knew that they were talking, we all knew. And he came over. I happened to be asleep at the time, but he specifically came to my house to have a chat and be like, ‘Yo, I wanted to see what you thought about it. Is everything good?’ He knew that I would be like, ‘Oh! Alright, cool!’”

Evan and Ryan didn’t get to have their talk before news about the couple broke online but it was all good between them.

“People always think it’s weird. I’m like, ‘It’s not weird! We dated 15 years ago.’ I want her to be happy, and I want him to be happy. And it’s like, what better way to have two people that you love and actually care about be together and be happy? To me, that rules. I think it’s completely normal…I love Evan, and I love Ashlee, and now we all get to hang out. So it’s great,” Ryan concluded.

If you don’t know, the couple, whose relationship was documented on The Hills, originally dated for several months in 2010. They recently reunited back in April and dated for a second time.

No reason was given for the breakup, but People has reportedly confirmed the news via sources.

The pair celebrated his birthday together back in May.
