Bob Odenkirk's 'Nobody' Movie Is On Track to Being a Hit!

The new movie Nobody, starring Bob Odenkirk, is on track to being the number one movie of the weekend!

Before the film was released, predictions for the opening weekend were set at an estimated $5 million, but it’s currently on track to earn around $7 million. While a lot of theaters have reopened, there are still capacity limits. Also, the Regal chain will not be open until April 1.

Deadline is reporting that the movie earned an A- CinemaScore and 83% positive/69% recommend from Screen Engine/Comscore exits, which bodes well for the movie’s future.

Here is the movie’s synopsis: Hutch Mansell (Odenkirk), an underestimated and overlooked dad and husband, is taking life’s indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody. When two thieves break into his suburban home one night, Hutch declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent serious violence. His teenage son, Blake, is disappointed in him and his wife, Becca, seems to pull only further away. The aftermath of the incident strikes a match to Hutch’s long-simmering rage, triggering dormant instincts and propelling him on a brutal path that will surface dark secrets and lethal skills. In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must save his family from a dangerous adversary—and ensure that he will never be underestimated as a nobody again.

Also starring in the movie are Connie Nielsen, RZA, Alexey Serebryakov, and Christopher Lloyd.

'Cut Throat City' Movie Is Getting an Awards Campaign After Netflix Success

The number one movie on Netflix right now is a new film titled Cut Throat City and an awards push is being planned after the massive success!

You might not have heard much about the film yet as it’s not a Netflix original, so the streaming service is not promoting it. Some incredible word-of-mouth helped the film secure the top slot on the trending chart.

Cut Throat City was directed by rapper RZA and it features an all-star cast with Shameik Moore, Wesley Snipes, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Kat Graham, Demetrius Shipp Jr., Eiza Gonzalez, Ethan Hawke, and Terrence Howard.

Opening on a gritty graphic novel animation, Cut Throat City finds four boyhood friends return to NOLA’s Lower Ninth Ward in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. As FEMA fails to provide aid to their wracked community, they reluctantly turn to a local gangster for help. When that job goes horribly awry, they must outrun–and outsmart—a system rife with corruption and filled with both malevolent and colorful characters.

A press release from the film’s distributor, Well Go USA Entertainment, says that the film will be getting an awards push this year!

The 25-year-old rapper opened up about her side of the story of what happened when she was in hotel room with Russell and how her friend RZA didn’t defend her.

“Every time, every time something like this happens I’m always like being blamed for like wanting this kind of attention. Like who the f–k wants to tell somebody they got spat on? You know, that’s humiliating. And I’m just like really, really humiliated,” Azealia said.

Azealia says that Russell mocked her career during the six-hour dinner and that he choked her, picked her up, and threw her out of the room after she had an altercation with a woman at the party.

RZA Defends Russell Crowe in Azealia Banks Dispute, Confirms Russell Spit at Azealia

RZA is weighing in on Azealia Banks dispute with Russell Crowe, which occurred in a hotel room over the weekend.

Azealia was brought to Russell‘s room by RZA, and while there, she claims Russell assaulted her when he forcibly removed her from the room when she became violent.

“I invited her to meet me at the BHH Polo Lounge. Yet I head also planned on spending some time with my Buddy RC in his suite so I ask him can she join. He says “cool Bobby” so I invited her. Before the night is over Azealia is insulting half the room she becomes loud and obnoxious. There was nothing funny about her behavior. I felt a little embarrassed because she was my guest. Still verbal abuse can be tolerated but when it goes physical…” RZA wrote on Facebook. “Azealia threaten to cut a girl in the face with a glass, then actually grabs a glass and physically attacks for no logical reason. Russell blocked the attack and expelled her from the suite. Seeing is believing and I saw her behave as an obnoxious erratic individual and in the circles I frequent this was unprecedented. I was totally puzzles by her and thought maybe meds or booze or something had her zoned out.”

In addition, RZA went on TMZ Live and confirmed that Russell did not choke Azealia or call her anything derogatory. He did spit at her.
