Idris Elba is speaking out in response to a report that he just welcomed a baby with his wife Sabrina.

The news started spreading this weekend after Idris gave an interview in which he said he’s the “father of two boys.”

Idris has an 18-year-old daughter named Isan and a six-year-old son named Winston, so people assumed that he welcomed another son into his family. Sources have told us that he actually has a godson who he refers to as his son.

“Sab @Sabrinadhowre and i thank you for all the congratulations but we haven’t had a baby…. that’s not true 😀 Don’t believe everything you read. Stay safe. 🖤,” Idris wrote on his Twitter account on Monday (September 14).

Idris Elba is feeling better after his diagnosis, but he isn’t out of the woods yet.

The 47-year-old Luther actor gave an update on his health on Tuesday (March 31), telling his fans that he and wife Sabrina are “asymptomatic” after their positive diagnosis amid the pandemic.

“We’ve passed the quarantine period, but we’re a little bit in limbo — we can’t get a flight back home. So we just have to sit still for a little bit,” he said.

“Other than that, we’re OK and we’re so thankful that I think the worst of it is probably past.”

If you didn’t know, Idris was on location about to start working on a movie when he found out he needed to be quarantined.

“We’re both good mentally, just trying to stay optimistic. I hope you guys are too, keeping yourselves sane and not getting too worried and too panicked. Take it from me, man, I thought I definitely was gonna see the worst of it, as an asthmatic, but I got through it. And you can too.”

Idris Elba is hitting back at rumors that he was paid to say he has coronavirus as part of a new Internet conspiracy theory.

The 47-year-old actor spoke out during an Instagram Live on Tuesday (March 24) amid rumors following his positive diagnosis.

“It shouldn’t be about whether the rich or poor gets it. Everyone should be able to get a test, for sure,” he said of his desire for universal testing.

“I think the negativity around test-shaming is counterproductive. I don’t see what people get out of that. And the idea that someone like myself is going to be paid to say I have coronavirus. That’s absolute bulls–t. Such stupidness. And people want to spread that like it’s news. It’s stupid,” he went on to say.

“It’s the quickest way to get people sick. It’s no benefit to me and Sabrina saying that we got it and we ain’t got it. I don’t understand the logic of that.”

“Or to say that we’re stuck inside,” Sabrina added.

”There are a lot of people who conjure up these stories,” Idris said.

Sabrina Dhowre-Elba has revealed that she has tested positive for coronavirus.

During the first episode of Oprah Winfrey‘s new Apple TV+ series Oprah Talks, the 30-year-old wife of Idris Elba revealed that she too has been diagnosed with the virus.

“Actually, I found out this morning, Oprah, that I tested positive,” Sabrina shared as she and the 47-year-old actor chatted with Oprah via FaceTime.

Sabrina then went on to address the criticism she faced for not distancing herself from Idris after he tested positive for the coronavirus.

“I wanted to be with him,” Sabrina said. “That’s the instinct of a wife. You want to go and take care.”

Sabrina then talked about how she is feeling and said that she isn’t experiencing any of the coronavirus symptoms right now.

“I don’t feel anything that would come to what people would now expect to be a symptom of coronavirus, which is really strange,” Sabrina said. “It might change in the coming weeks, and we’ll keep everyone updated. But it is worrisome that we’re sitting here, two people, and … we’re asymptomatic.”

The 47-year-old actor kept things cool in a black, zip-up jacket, olive-colored pants, and a black hat while his wife looked pretty in a dark-marigold cardigan over a black dress for their flight out of town.

Earlier this month, the newlyweds stepped out for the Lucky Cat restaurant opening in London.

Priyanka Chopra keeps it chic and sophisticated while striking a pose at the Vogue Japan 20th Anniversary Party held at the Bulgari Hotel on Wednesday (September 18) in Milan, Italy.

The 37-year-old actress was joined by Irina Shayk and Sabrina Dhowre Elba at the event, hosted by the magazine’s editor in chief Mitsuko Watanabe and its Italian creative director at large Anna Dello Russo.

That same day, Priyanka and Irina were both spotted landing at Milan Airport and making their way to their rides.
