Sean Penn gets his own “Mean Tweets” segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The 59-year-old Into the Wild actor chatted with host Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday (September 12) in Los Angeles.

“I did it once when I was here, and then I didn’t do it the next time,” Sean said about the segment, during which celebrities read mean tweets about themselves out loud. “Because for me, doing it backstage feels like taking a selfie.”

Sean then proceeded to read the tweets live in front of the audience, stating, “It’s gonna be tough for these people to come up with [mean tweets], because I’m so universally liked.”

Sean also talked the Democratic debate, the 2020 election, and more.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone are feeling the love.

The 44-year-old Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star and his 22-year-old model girlfriend were spotted sharing a kiss while at dinner with Sean Penn and girlfriend Leila George on Tuesday (August 6) at Lo Scoglio restaurant in Nerano, Italy.

The group seemed to have a fun conversation together, as S was seen having drinks while Leila playfully ruffled his hair. Camilla was seen feeding Leo some food on their fun vacation together.

The 44-year-old actor was joined for the day on the yacht by his girlfriend Camila Morrone, as well as his pal Sean Penn.

Sean Penn is diving in!

The 58-year-old Mystic River actor and his 27-year-old girlfriend Leila George were spotted on vacation together on Sunday (August 11) in Sardinia, Italy.

Sean was spotted getting shirtless and taking a leap into the water.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone are guests on the same yacht. The two were seen cuddling up and going for a swim as well!

Sean is currently directing a drama called Flag Day, about a father who lives a double life as a counterfeiter, bank robber and con man in order to provide for his daughter.

Sean Penn just might be the biggest fan ever of Bradley Cooper.

The 58-year-old Oscar-winning actor stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he talked about his love for the Oscar-nominated film A Star is Born starring Bradley and Lady Gaga.

“It’s not appealing to a trend – it’s appealing to a human hunger,” Sean said about the love story the film follows.

Before the 2019 Oscars, Sean wrote an op-ed article where he says, “It’s over and over again one of my favorite films of all time.”

The 46-year-old Goop entrepreneur, who is also Chris‘s ex-wife, as well as the 51-year-old Ben Is Back actress and the 58-year-old The First star were all seen arriving for the Coldplay frontman’s 42nd birthday party on Saturday (March 2) in Malibu, Calif.

Melanie Griffith was also spotted arriving for the party, as well as Jeremy Allen White.

Chris‘s daughter Apple was also in attendance (not pictured) – and a mariachi band was seen arriving too!

Sean Penn will be marking down A Star Is Born and Bradley Cooper on his Oscars ballot later this month!

The 58-year-old actor, who is a two-time Oscar winner, wrote an op-ed article for Deadline in which he explains why Bradley is deserving of an Academy Award.

“There are many really good films and performances nominated this year. There are also many perishable trend-pieces that, win or lose, will be lost to memory. In a fair world, A Star is Born sweeps the awards,” Sean wrote in his piece. “It’s just such a gift. Clear minds and hearts cannot possibly deny it its due. It’s over and over again one of my favorite films of all time, harkening back to the essential filmmaking of Hal Ashby.”

Sean ended the article by saying, “A Star is Born is simply everything that movies should be. If we honor anything, this should be it.”

A Star Is Born is up for eight Oscars, including Best Picture and acting nods for Bradley, Lady Gaga, and Sam Elliott.
